Wow you are good at STATA prof! Thanks for sharing this insightful information. I have subscribed to your channel to watch more of your previous videos.
Thank you for your hard work. The update to tabulate confidence intervals are already out? In some areas we prefer to report it instead of p-values, so asdoc can only help us with descriptive statistics in this version.
I re-wrote the tabulate and table codes from scratch for better display. The task was heavy and needed significant amount of time and efforts. At the moment, I have excluded additional options with tabulate such as summary stats, but I plan to include these in the next version, that is asdocx. You can see updates related to this version here fintechprofessor.com/asdocx
Hi Dr. Shah, thank you so much for creating this package! It has been a lifesaver :) My issue is that when I enter "tab x, su(y)", everything works fine. But when I add the asdoc at the beginning "asdoc tab x, su(y)", it says the su isn't recognized. I was looking through your website, and it seems like someone else had the same problem. Is there a workaround? Thanks again.
Hello Dr. Shah! This is a great tutorial and a fantastic program! Thank you for your work and efforts! Quick question about the summary table for baseline characteristics, is there a way that the P values could be automated for the comparison in the baseline variables? Do you have a code for it? If ready, I shall be happy to buy it....if not ready, could you please let us know when ready? Thanks!
Dear Sourbha Dani, thanks for the kind words and appreciation. Can you provide more details on the requested functionality? You can contact me at attaullah.shah@imsciences.edu.pk

Thank you so much for teaching us these techniques using asdoc. I would like to know if there is any way I can format the tables so that N and percentage are shown side by side instead of in two rows. And how can I change the column titles?
Thanks for your comments. I am working on a more flexible program that will have the functionalities that you have asked for. The new program will be called asdocx. I hope to roll it out in the next 6 months.

How to get univariate totals in word out put file using asdoc. In stata Output we will get totals but Word Output we are not getting total os frequency. please reply if there is any solution
This is not an error. If the file already exists and you do not use the option "replace", then asdoc will write to the same file, i.e appending to it. Make sure that the Word file is not open when you are writing to the same file.
what is wrong sir it says file Myfile.doc already exists fopen(): 602 file already exists asdoc_tab_twovars(): - function returned error : - function returned error
Can you please send the data file and codes to me at stata.professor@gmail.com. Also, please indicate whether you are using Windows or other operating systems? And the version of Stata?
I just had the same problem and searched for an answer online. I read that this might happen to non-numeric data. When I transformed my data into numeric, I could export it.

After installing asdoc to Stata 15.0 it gives me "command asdoc is not recognised" when I try to use it. What's the fix for that?
Seems your installation was not successful. Try it again with:
ssc install asdoc, replace
It now worked! Thanks
