Perhaps it's dramatic to highlight the speed of global destruction we have caused to the environment and most importantly to ourselves.. I think it highlights the fact that life would flourish again if we were gone, or even better changed our ways collectively to harmonise with mother nature and truly achieve our potential as intelligent species from Earth :)

What? Most locks are not electric (and even if they are, they don't just unlock when the power is gone), so no, farm animals, pets and zoo animals wouldn't roam freely, they would die in captivity and they would die fast.
Most farm animals aren't kept indoors - they are contained only by electric fences which, without power, don't do much to contain anything as they are usually just a few thin wires strung between posts. Most animals in homes would be contained and die from dehydration and starvation, but enough people have pet doors, or keep their pets outside, that the animals who manage to break free will be roaming about. (Heck my mother's german pinschers can let themselves out of the house anytime they want to because they can work the door handles.) Besides... this is a thought experiment. A supposition. It's not meant to be the basis for any real theory.
The cages fences and houses that keep animals in captivity would be eroded and the animals could escape not to mention people who disappeared without locking up there animals and feral animals that are already in the wild. Also desperate hungry animals that are desperate to survive by escaping.

NitroSHIFT Schools were shitty , but so is internet .Largest carbon dioxide producer is the sea and second is human after that comes machines and industry .Guess what , methane and other natural gases are more responsible for increased avg temperatures .And Earth isn't just getting warm , its getting cold and hell rainy at some parts and we just made a myth of warming the earth.

Scientists all over the world are incredibly under-appreciated, notably in salaries compared to many other occupations I won't name that I consider worthless but get paid more... or way way way more.

What? Most locks are not electric (and even if they are, they don't just unlock when the power is gone), so no, farm animals, pets and zoo animals wouldn't roam freely, they would die in captivity and they would die fast.

Most farm animals aren't kept indoors - they are contained only by electric fences which, without power, don't do much to contain anything as they are usually just a few thin wires strung between posts.
Most animals in homes would be contained and die from dehydration and starvation, but enough people have pet doors, or keep their pets outside, that the animals who manage to break free will be roaming about. (Heck my mother's german pinschers can let themselves out of the house anytime they want to because they can work the door handles.)
Besides... this is a thought experiment. A supposition. It's not meant to be the basis for any real theory.
The cages fences and houses that keep animals in captivity would be eroded and the animals could escape not to mention people who disappeared without locking up there animals and feral animals that are already in the wild. Also desperate hungry animals that are desperate to survive by escaping.

However animals desperate to escape to feed themselves are more likely - though most domestic animals who've lived a good life and have never had to worry about being fed won't react that way.
