아이돌 그룹중에 음악적인 완성도가 높을수밖에 없는 이유가 케이팝 그룹중에 KARD와 더불어서 전담프로듀서가 존재하는 유일한 팀임. 아, 유일한이 아니고 KARD와 같이. 드림캐쳐 앨범중에 Fly High,WHAT 단 두곡 제외하곤 데뷔부터 지금까지 리즈와 올라운더가 작사,작곡,프로듀싱 도맡아서 해왔습니다.(간간히 멤버들이 참여하는 곡도 있음.) 참고로 음악 작업시에 주로 맡는 악기는 리즈는 드럼, 올라운더가 기타입니다. 그냥 드림캐쳐는 7+2 = 9명의 혼성팀이라고 보는 것이 어쩌면 바를지도...
Well, well, well. Hi there! Dreamcatcher are outdoing themselves here once again. Musically, the song is a fantastic journey. There actually are "cute" parts, but there also are parts where the guitars go full metal. The variations in BEcause remind me of their previous masterpiece, Deja Vu. The bridge with SuA's slow rap and Yoohyeon's adlibs is possibly the most beautiful one they have ever done. About the meaning: According to Dami, BEcause is about love becoming obsession. And also, this is a stand-alone story. They go back to their horror roots, which I really enjoy. They noted that if you look at "BE" as a written Chinese character "悲“, that would mean "sadness". So the song title would mean "The Cause of Sadness". And that would make the lyric "because I like you" to maybe mean "the cause of sadness is I like you". The video picks up on that. JiU seems to be the puppet master here (or her doppelganger!). She is the one trapping the other members and turning them into puppets, but Gahyeon tries to escape (as you can see by her throwing off the cage right in the beginning). It seems JiU catches her again though, "because she likes her". And I didn't even touch on the references to the movie "Us" yet, there is so much going on. The lyrics are even creepier. SuA sings: "Your face turns blue, blue. Your expression is like ocean view.", hinting at strangulation due to the one being obsessed taking things way, way too far. Dreamcatcher are clearly not afraid to tackle the difficult subjects, and they do it masterfully here - again. For me, this is more than just pop, it is art.
Their EDM track *Whistle* on the album is great if u haven't check that. Figure u might be interested since you are an EDM producer,i like their EDM tracks so far,it's pleasant to the ear 😁 Thank you for the video

드림캐쳐는 케이팝의 확장선이라고 생각합니다. 특유의 롹사운드가 주는 기승전결이 확실해서 듣는 사람이 받는 쾌감과 전율이 완전 극락이죠! 빨리 내년 유럽에서 열리는 프리마베라사운드에서 세계적인 가수들과 무대서는 날이 왔으면 좋겠네요
분명 베이비메탈을 넘는 엄청난 팀이 될거라 믿어 의심치 않습니다!
