Usually when I am at Disneyland, I'm so focused on beating "those meddling kids" to the rides that I forget their food selection is incredible. I never made the shellfish allergy=don't eat bugs connection before--but it makes sense! Also, I need that salted caramel churro--that sounds amazing! 😍 I'm glad y'all are getting to have some fall fun, even if the parks themselves aren't open out there yet!

I'm legit jealous that we don't have Churros as available as you guys. Seems like California has them always ready & available. They're one of my favorite. I just want all the food lol. Bryan from Always Believe didn't know the ice cream had bugs at first and he liked it. "I Can Show You The World " and "Indiana Jones" during bug ice cream, perfect. At least it's not snakes lol.

I hate to say this but there is a certain amount of insect debris allowed in chocolate. The FDA officially allows up to 60 insect fragments per 100g of chocolate, and it doesn't end there. Insect pieces can be found in almost everything we consume, from coffee to cinnamon, with the result that we naturally consume quite a large quantity of bugs over the course of a year.
