I am a dance teacher in West Virginia, and I just want to say it’s great to see you sharing aspects of dance on your channel. There are a few dance channels but in general there’s not a lot of people who involve aspects of dance into lifestyle/beauty channels

Thanks! Yeah I really love watching Kathryn Morgan's videos, wish I could make it Miami to watch her perform. But there's not many other dance channels that I've found.

I re-read the entire Harry Potter series this year, and I thought it was really interesting to see it through my adult perspective now. Book 4 is still my favourite, that hasn't changed, but I can really appreciate book 5 and 6 more as an adult. Harry basically had PTSD in book 5 and people hardly cared, they even ignored him (Dumbledore does) - so from today's perspective and our awareness around mental health, that was also interesting I thought.

My mom always has me treat canker sores with some powdered alum. Use a q-tip to apply. Burns at first, but takes the pain away & seems to heal faster.

I LOVE What We Do In The Shadows!! Have you seen the series they've made by the same name yet? Same premise, just as hilarious, but set in Staten Island and the original vampires make some appearances at points too.

That’s funny I was binge watching Judy Garland videos. Maybe because the movie was out and Judy videos were popping up everywhere and I just thought it was my relative interest was the reason. I wish I could move but I want to move alone but my child is terrified to fly the coup. Huge Sade fan since the 80s. The most beautiful woman.

Have you read any of the Amelia Peabody series? She’s an english amateur anthropologist back in the 1900s and they are fun and hilarious! Light reading with some mystery that she has to solve, and there are like 18 books. Lots of fun ;)
That Judy movie intrigued me but I have been unsure if I would be let down too, so I have been apprehensive about seeing it in theaters. I’m sure I will see it eventually.
I love Sade, my dad got me into her when I was a kid too. She is fantastic.
Edit: I have the niacinimide serum from the ordinary and it is sticky too. I only use it at night. I wash my face, put on a hydrating toner (for that korean 7 skin method but I usually only do two or three layers), then i put just a drop of the niacinimide serum on my whole face. I then put a few drops of an oil on (usually argan oil, but right now i’m trying out the ordinary’s b oil), and that gets rid of the stickiness. Then moisturizer on top of everything. That has worked well for me.

Have you seen the What We Do In The Shadows tv show? It's on FX and it's hilarious! Taika Waititi and Jermaine Clement created and directed it so it's very much in the same vein as the movie.

So happy you’re making videos again, I love your chatty eclectic favs videos! But I’m sorry, people are too hard on Harry in the fifth book. It wasn’t angst, it was a teenager with PTSD from watching a peer get murdered in cold blood and nearly being murdered himself by the man who killed his parents, who then was sent back to his abusive aunt and uncle because the wizarding world has no understanding of psychology (no therapy, seems like). Had to get that out, I have strong feelings about people dismissing Harry’s feelings as “angst” in that book xD I think it’s just because he’s a teenager, if he were a grown man he’d be seen as gritty or “deep” or whatever.

I have some book recommendations for you! These first three are historical fiction:
Revolution Jenifer Donnelly (French Revolution, kind of a time travel story but not in the way that you think)
The Musicians Daughter Susanne Dunlap (1900s murder mystery in Vienna)
Sarah's Key Tatiana De Rosney (Nazi Germany revisited by an American journalist through an interview. Made me cry a little)
Also if you like Dystopia and "magic" powers I recommend the Red Queen series ❤️

    Since you're into cemeteries:
My mom is a local author/historian (New Freedom, PA) and she is giving a talk in a cemetery tonight. She was spearheading a project to fix up this cemetery. There were 2 entities helping her with it but they got into a fight so the project is on hold. Some of the people buried there were part of the underground railroad.

Cool, I wish I was in the area and I'd totally attend! Okay I dunno if you want to hear this story but somewhat related. Since moving here I discovered that this neighborhood was once called Freedman's Town and it was a vibrant black community until it was literally demolished to build a highway in the middle of it. The local segregated cemetery was actually bulldozed. Hundreds of graves defiled. Eventually the families acquired a small plot of land nearby and there's now mass unmarked graves in this small field. I believe it's about 1,100 unmarked graves if I remember correctly. Including the body of Allen Brooks, a man lynched in downtown Dallas in 1910, for being found "unsupervised near a white child." They don't even have headstones to mark that they even existed. Being buried in an unmarked grave is so incredibly sad to me. Immediate family members may know the location but over time it'll be completely forgotten. Sorry for my history novel of a response...

Ball pythons are really good pets. And very cuddly too! They have very strong personalities (just like dogs).
One thing to consider: you can’t vape or smoke near any reptiles as nicotine can cause permanent brain damage to them.
Not a lot of people know this, but it’s really important.
There are lots of good YT videos on here explaining what they need (and don’t need).
I’m in the UK, but if you ever have any ball python questions, contact me via my partner’s website: www.Ophidianselect.com

Yes I've heard they're sort of the "Labrador retrievers of the snake world." That many bond more closely with their humans than other species do. There's just so much I don't know, and I don't want to bring any pet into my home unless I can give it the best life possible. I'm also really interested in garter or ribbon snakes too. Anyway, thanks for your comment! :)
