Another thing ive realized on how to gain and keep the trust of a Venus in Capricorn is being reliable and consistent. As soon as you start being flaky, thats when we start getting cold and detached. Not to be mean or anything but as a Venus in Capricorn who date a lot of Venus in Capricorn and has a lot of Venus in Capricorn around her... the part where you said that we settle if you show us that you like us is SO UNTRUE. Venus in Capricorn is the sign with the most and highest standards. We are so tough on love and trying to have us settling is like going for a word class contest, it is so hard, we are very high standards. And as I say not to be mean or to brag but I have a lot of people coming for me and my fellow Venus in Cap and we never ever settle. Only for THE ONE. My standards only went high after I went through the experience of settling. I didn't even realize I was settling because he looked good on paper. So I can say we do date for potential until we learn to be emotionally available.

As an Aquarius with a Capricorn Venus she is right at the very beginning. That's the whole reason I moved back to Florida. I've hardly experienced love in my life and when my ex gave that to me I left everything that I had back in California just to have someone love me. My own family hardly even shown me love and when my ex gave it to me I was willing to give anything I had for her. Well as you guys may know, it didn't work out but it was a learning experience and I'm wiser for it

This is very accurate to me. I used to be in a relationship before and I just realized now that I’m not really inlove with the person. I was just flattered because he showed me so much affection. And it didn’t work out for us. Since I have this Venus in Capricorn, I’m not really spontaneous. We weren’t compatible. I thought I have to be committed and it just made me feel suffocated because he likes to do spontaneous stuff while I like to do things based on what I planned. He was also obsessive, possesive and clingy. I know he wanted to brag me but I wanted a private relationship and it makes ne uncomfortable. Throughout that relationship, I must say, I wasn’t happy around him. I was happier when we were distant with each other. It sounds weird but that’s what I felt. But now, I realized that I don’t need to be in bunch of relationships. I just want to be with one and right person and I won’t be in relationship that I don’t truly like or those whom I just find potential with. It has to be what exactly I want it to be.
Also I’m Sag sun. I’m really fun and adventurous but when it comes to romance, I want a soul-level kind of relationship where we can connect emotionally. The conflict is, since I have Sag sun, people see me as this adventurous person-which is true, but it makes people drawn to me because of this adventurous side of me without knowing what I truly like in romance. How I act as an individual is very opposite to what I truly in terms of romance, if that makes sense.
It makes complete sense to me. I'm the same as you, Sag sun and Venus in Capricorn. I also have moon in Capricorn as well along with that. I guess we can be quite difficult to figure out. Sagittarius and Capricorn are so different and somehow people tend to think that just because my sun is in Sagittarius I never want to commit and just live my life forever single partying and having multiple partners back and forth. But that's not true at all. I'm 29 and still never dated anyone. Never had any one night stands and would never want that either! That really puts me off and I could never imagine myself doing that. But I used to like partying when I was younger and I admit that I misled quite a few people who seemed interested in me as I immediately run off whenever things were starting to get serious. I never had sex with anyone of them because I realized that they weren't the one and only I truly wished for as I've always been very selective. I liked having fun at parties, teasing people but never wanted for things to escalate. I'm much calmer now as I'm older but still wishing to find my special someone...

Im a Venus Cap, Sun & rising Aquarius, and Aries Moon, and I do think of love a lot like a business transaction lol it’s like “is this possible investment worth my time and energy? would I be better off with their presence/influence in my life than how I am right now?”. I can be cold and distant, but I’m actually hella loving and will give it my all once I know that the investment is safe and worth it. But yeah, I broke up with my last boyfriend because he started to demand a lot of time from me which completely disrupted my daily schedule and made me subconsciously give up on certain goals and grow distant from my friends just to make them happy. And in turn it made me miserable. Never again.

God you are so right. I'm an Aquarius w/ venus in Capricorn and I treat relationships really seriously. I mean, I can kid around but when push comes to shove - I do want someone who sets goals and has life aspirations. It's not easy when your Mercury's & Mars is in wishy washy Pisces and you're attracted to a Pisces but you have your Venus in Capricorn. And then you get disappointed when they want to buy a big ticket item for themselves and you've been with them for years and you are so let down when they're not investing their money in the relationship, i.e., a house, etc. I'd have to say I have just glommed onto someone who seems to have it all together without thinking it through. I can get serious quick and also dreamy! lol Probably why I'm not in relationships anymore! lol I wouldn't say I'm so gullible that if someone says "you're special" I just cling onto that person. I also wouldn't say that love is a mystery to me (Scorpio Rising). I will say that I don't just look for love in someone who doesn't want to work hard to get to where they're going.

Aqua sun with Venus is Capricorn. I had my time to gain experience in the love department early on and I learned what I wanted and what I didn't want in a partner. To me now at 23 (I'm commited) I am expecting my partner to be responsible and serious in life/job/stability matters. Today I find it really hard to just fall blindly in love with somebody without being sure if that person is serious about the relationship. Even years prior I've always fought for my career and for money and for stability I know exactly where I want to be in a few years. And so I could never be with someone who doesn't have a clear vision and a plan of what the future might be, I dated a guy who lived "one day at a time" and you can guess how that went.... Loved most points, the only one that was wrong was the “Settling” part. I know EVERY Venus in Cap sat up like “who is letting just ANYONE love me?”. It has a lot to do with a few other aspects like your Mars and Sun. As a Scorpio sun, Capricorn Mars and Midheaven I crave a person who is as ambitious, self-driven, and takes love (friendship or romantic) as serious as a job. I give my energy efficiently, consistently, and meaningfully so it grinds my GEARS when someone is lazy or anything other than those three words. Also stability is a must, like a “power couple” in a sense. (I’m a Aries Ascendant so excuse the all cap emphasis 😭)

Honestly, my Venus and Capricorn lives in Singapore. I live in America. She was open to me having an open relationship. But when she came in town, everybody had to go, and nothing was ever shown to her. But yeah, I was surprised.
Right the terms were laid out. She knew. I knew. And we never broke those terms. I was so surprised that I was able to have dalliances while I was in America while she lived in Singapore. She was very mature about it unbelievably mature about it.
