Beautiful performance. The slow movements are definitely my favorites. Whoever decided to try all the staccato notes in the opening Largo as up-bows had a brilliant idea -- the result is fantastic!
I think, there is not "too much vibrato" or "too little vibrato". There only is musical interpretation (or not). And in my opinion here is so much music! Bravo! And to the "no vibrato guys": They didn't mention this performance to be a historical one, did they? I can see modern violins and bows...
Only if you're ridiculous enough to think it was just a coincidence that Telemann got the post for St Tomas Kirche, only to recommend his friend JS Bach to be a better match for it.
