I love watching you go through this transition and getting all domestic. I did the single thing in Bangkok a bit longer than you (20 years) but eventually found the right one and settled down nearly 28 years ago. I have no regrets and hope you won't either.
Love Samed, been going since 1995... Changed a bit, but it still has that same feel, it's the eclectic mix of people that make it so much fun and unpredictable.
love this style of content keis destination and travel in Thailand keep them coming! definitely going to check this island out on my next trip to Thailand.
Great Video Dude :) Such a great place and as always your camera quality and editing A+. Looks like you rented a Click 160 ABS Special :) Hope it comes in different colors in Thailand once I get there, but Hua Hin Big Wing only showing black as an option for that model :)
The park fee is 40Baht for Thai and 200Baht for tourists. Scooters are all 400Baht everywhere, gas included. The viewpoint at the far south is the best.
You have a great style with your content. It’s easy to watch. I have a small youtube channel and I watch a lot of other content creators and find your content the easiest to watch . Well done mate 👍
Went on a day trip to Samet in 2010 on my first holiday in thailand. Was one of those sunny days where the white sand felt dazzling, even with sunnies on. I'm sure it was still more developed than those who went in the years before me experienced, but none the less it felt very underdeveloped to me and really had that desert island charm.
Been over to samet afew times, love it !! Great place to go and escape the madness, I wouldn't recommend the speedboat very uncomfortable, The other boats are slower and more relaxing . Enjoyed you're video.
Love Koh Samet, where Bangkokians head down for a quick getaway and to 'find romance' 😊. The sand on Prao Beach on the western side of the island was so soft under your feet...awesome memories with a lovely sunset! ❤
Had a great break from HK just before Covid with Korean gf in one of those cabins. Was in Koh Samet before Christmas and it had cha fed a bit but still great. If I lived/worked in bkk I reckon I’d be in samet every two weeks and Koh Chang at least 1 x a month.
Thanks Adam, I've been looking at Koh Samet to bring my lady to. Kinds of cements for me. We did a few trips to Samui, Phuket and beyond but looking a little easier trip. I Enjoy your videos, keep it up. BTW being domesticated is not a bad thing!
Sunrise was never my jam neither, now I try see as many as I can. I am used to going to bed earlier now and generally just healthier for prioritising sun. Keep up the good work.
Been here 3 times. It is perfect if you're a lazy traveler. A little tip on the speedboat.. it should cost 300 baht for the round trip but there are some companies charging 800 since their are in business with the taxi driver.
@ nice one thanks. Been watching your videos for a few years, been great to see your channel grow! We’ve been away from home travelling for the past 2 years, year 1 spent a lot of time in Thailand, currently in Guatemala missing Thailand 😂
Looks great. (So does your girlfriend's smile, even from that long distance.) As someone who doesn't ride motorbikes, I'm wondering about the baht buses. Did you notice if they run late at night?
General question - do you have to hold a motorbike driving license in order to rent a bike? I guess most people don't have have it but still renting bikes all over Thailand. I also have the impression that no one asks you to present such license in these rental-shops. In case of accident there is no insurance the risk is high.
i was in samet 4 weeks before but was gettin scammed from privat ferry piers.. can you share your ferry ride ? where i can hop on the local ferry? i buy tickets on boat like koh larn ferry or is there a shop where i buy this ticket for local ferry?
@keisone sure is . I was in hua hin for two months doing some research on the area for possible relocation. And I wish I could bring the supra with me 😁
Damn, did the lady say 800 baht for the motorbike for a day? They know how to handle tourists haha. I never paid more than 300 baht but usually even 200 for a day.
Haha nah I dont really want to exploit my girlfriend for views, I just wanted to make a fun video while we were away, I like to keep some level of a personal life 😊

Oh that sounds awesome, parts are still pretty undeveloped, the resorts are mostly nice though, fun place to visit!

Ah good to know, it’s a short ride so I didn’t see the value in a speed boat 😊
One of my favorite places in Thailand. Beautiful and peaceful.
Love Koh Samet, where Bangkokians head down for a quick getaway and to 'find romance' 😊. The sand on Prao Beach on the western side of the island was so soft under your feet...awesome memories with a lovely sunset! ❤

This is one of my fav island too. I actually been to the same hotel and stayed at the room next to you. Great choice.
We go to Samet 2-3 times every year for the past 9 years. It's a great spot for a quiet time with clean water beaches.
That ferry!!! ⛴️ 👌🏻👌🏻
Keis. 100k subs is getting close. Let’s do this. More videos with girl friend will get you to 100k

Love Koh Samet. Was there 33 years ago and 2 years ago, much has changed, but it is still a nice place to visit.
Haha yeah I’ll bet!
Brings back memories =) I need to go back soon !
Yeah man! You make me wanna go to Koh Kood next!
I was there last November. Stayed on Sai Kaew Beach. Lots of fun. The water was warmer than the pool at my hotel in Pattaya!
Haha yeah it’s like swimming in a bath, I love it lol
Thanks brother.
Loved the video.
Looks amazing 🇦🇺🇹🇭♥️🙏
Thanks matey!!
Another envy inducing, "Get to Thailand" video. Nice.
Haha thanks mate!
We had an awesome stay in Koh Samet for 3 nights cruise little island vibes laid back , apart from the power going out on the last day for 8 hours ! 😂
Good vid thks. On my bucket list for March.
Wear helmets. No excuse....especially steering with one hand.!!
Beautiful spot. Thanks for sharing Keis! Will keep in mind, seems easy to get to from Bangkok.
Thanks mate! Definitely worth the trip 😊
10000% my favorite and best island. Samed Cabana is the best spot!
Outstanding All Around
Amazing... me and my wife stayed at that resort (Malibu) in november/december.
Better food and restaurant at Cabana resort next to Malibu... :)
Looks Smick mate. Might check it out next time im in Rayong😊
Awesome Adam ( Mr keis)🤜👍

i WAS JUST THERE. I just left there on the 5th. its a great little spot

Koh Samet is a place where young Thai couples like to go. Believe that they will love each other for a long time. 😅
Good times ❤
my girlfriend has a week off work in February and wants to go somewhere, lookin like Koh Samet might be the place
Living the dream brother! So cool
Thanks mate! Yeah these trips away remind me of that!
Beautiful place
I just left that island yesterday. It's my favorite of all.
Oh nice, did you enjoy?
@keisone amazing like always 👍👍
Sunrise was never my jam neither, now I try see as many as I can. I am used to going to bed earlier now and generally just healthier for prioritising sun. Keep up the good work.
Nice one mate! I’m useless in the mornings haha

Yeah really is man! 😊
Great video! Koh Samet is not on the to visit list! What is the watch face you are using at 6:28 please?
It’s from an app called watch faces and widgets gallery, lots of cool faces there 😊
@ nice one thanks. Been watching your videos for a few years, been great to see your channel grow! We’ve been away from home travelling for the past 2 years, year 1 spent a lot of time in Thailand, currently in Guatemala missing Thailand 😂
Oh thank you so much! Hope you can get back here again sometime!
Been there many times its really Nice there. I usualy Stay at silversand in ao phai.
Ohhh nice, that’s a great part of the island too!
Yes the slow boat is definitely better, and of course cheaper, plus the speadboat drivers seem to think they are F1 drivers lol
I returned from my trip to Thailand a week ago, and watching this video didn't ease my separation anxiety at all. 😟
Hahaha sorry about that, guess it’s time to book the next trip!!
Got a few chrissy kg's on there brah haha. Was good to see you back home for a spell 🤙🏼
That’s an understatement bro! Haha getting back into the exercise thing starting tomorrow 😵💫

Sunburn ?
Looks great. (So does your girlfriend's smile, even from that long distance.) As someone who doesn't ride motorbikes, I'm wondering about the baht buses. Did you notice if they run late at night?
Thank you, her smile is lovely 🥰
I think they run all night and there is bike taxis too!
Always wanted to go Koh Samet
Definitely worth it mate!

They don’t ask or care, there isn’t police stopping people on the island or anything, seems like anything goes there..
i was in samet 4 weeks before but was gettin scammed from privat ferry piers.. can you share your ferry ride ? where i can hop on the local ferry? i buy tickets on boat like koh larn ferry or is there a shop where i buy this ticket for local ferry?
Head to Sri Ban Phae Pier, that’s the local ferry spot
Yoooo! 1St, Maybe…

Those shorts 😅

Haha yeah figured the off white and stussy didn’t vibe well with a beach video haha
Hey mate sent you a message in Patreon.
Very nice,
❤❤❤
Liked Samet however way too many close together speed bumps on the road. Constantly braking isn't enjoyable. However nice island.
Nice 😊
Cheers brother, is that a supra in your pic?
@keisone sure is . I was in hua hin for two months doing some research on the area for possible relocation. And I wish I could bring the supra with me 😁
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Damn, did the lady say 800 baht for the motorbike for a day? They know how to handle tourists haha. I never paid more than 300 baht but usually even 200 for a day.
Different on an island less competition 400b a day
800 for 2 days, fuel included.. thats standard there
🙏👋👫
👍🏼🍻🇦🇺
Yooooo!! Back on top!!
@keisone Yesir 👍🏼🍻🇦🇺
400 per day for bike wow !!
Eh it’s on the higher end, most places are 250-300 for a day, but it’s an island and in the middle of high season..
Keis is your girlfriend a dentist 😜
No? Is that a joke I don’t get? Lol
@ 😂oral B tv advert from Australia in the 80s
