I grew up playing Tecmo Bowl on NES and huge fan of Madden on SNES. The latest Madden games had turned me off of video football, but I just started playing NFL 2k5 for the first time on my XSX (Ps2 emulator) and it’s everything I’d ever hope for in a football game .. fluid core mechanics with no extraneous BS getting in the way.
The thing that im most dissapointed with this year’s game is that they still have the same commentary team since madden 17 wonder why they’ve kept these 2 as commentators for this long usuallythey only keep the same commentary for a few years its almost a decade now

Man I miss all the cool things you used to be able to do on the old Madden games. Create a Team, Training Camp, Combine, Madden Cards, Create a Fan, Coach Communication Pre Snap, Classic Teams, upload your franchise Roster for regular game play, the list goes on.
Hell yeah This game is. Garbage for real for real. They got no competition as you say. Some people say that's so smart. No, it's not. Competition in life always makes you better makes you up your game. I said enough.
I just got this for my dad for Christmas. He's not the gamer, (that's me, and to an extent my mom), but he LOVES football! He gets all huffy if someone spoils a game for him if he couldn't watch it live, LOL! Anyway, this is partially a gag gift, but partially a way I hope I can get him interested in gaming. Maybe he'll play this when football is off-season, as that's pretty much the only sport he watches

He couldn’t figure how to pass, and had other things to do, but I think he will enjoy it if he gets to playing it! It was a bit of a sad moment too, though. My older brother is no longer with us, and I know he'd have loved doing that with Dad, and that if I'd not have thought of the game myself he would have. The PlayStation was always his favorite line of consoles, and he never got to see the PS5 come out.

They can't even make players run like human beings. You should be able to experience/feel the impact of players hitting each other but they just bounce off. No realism at all, it's like everything is on arcade mode.
That's why I continue to play Madden 22 franchise with my brother, cousins, and friends... Not paying more money for a new Madden game with the same shit from the last 2,000 years
Where’s the coin toss? Where’s the create a fan? Where’s the mini game drills? Where’s practice mode? Where’s the feature where I can own/create a team, and pick what kinda stadium I wanna have them play in? And set the prices for concessions? And relocate the team if I wanted to? And that’s just a smidge of what’s missing from the game. I’d rather play, Madden 06 than this so called $60 football simulator.

Ok so 5:59 he stiff arms Aaron Donald to the ground somehow which makes him lose his balance but the laws of physics don't apply to madden because even though he was off balance and trying to get his footing he ran three guys over in slow motion.

Every year this game feels like it's taken another step backwards, same cheap gameplay formula, bad A.I., animation is terrible and the exclusivity rights to release more of the same formula that shows ESPN football is still the better game
The TD at 10:00 is so weird. That defensive set makes ZERO sense against that offensive formation. They’re basically giving up the middle, entirely, with only 1 yard to the GL. Madden needs to focus less on graphics and more on football logic.
I got a PS5 and a PS4 they're really not much different and drafix that's my personal opinion if you're just looking at the TV you really can't tell much difference
