Question!!!! So I'm a total noob when it comes to equipment and stuff. So I mainly play in a room... By myself, sometimes I record. But could this device also work in a live setting or just jamming with friends (drums included)? If so, do I have to purchase an amp? Like a fender amp etc? Or could I use, say, an active speaker or a PA Speaker as output? Is there a special PA speaker for bass? Or it doesn't matter? I know the device will work fine for room playing-recording, but I really just wanna know if this + PA Speaker is going to work in a band setting, and if a PA speaker will be enough to pass through guitars and drums. I probably asked a lot... I can't seem to find any answer on forums, google and youtube. Thanks in advance

I found that your time taken to cover this for us all was informative due to your straight up bare bones approach in just plugging in and playing through & with this unit and letting others judge was adquate and appreciative. I'm indecisive on which way to go;..Zoom GnBx or Boss GT1B...(..also interested in the Boss GT1 for Guitar!..) both sounding good enough for my needs. Hubert V, you can program your patches in the User section, in the order you want to go through them. So if you know you'd be using patches 6 and 18 for a gig, you can copy them to User 1 and User 2, for instance. This way you wouldn't have to scramble through 7 to 17, just to switch between 6 and 18. I program my patches this way. I also leave every other patch as a clean, no effects patch. This way I can always play a natural sounding bass just by going to the next patch. Jared, sorry to hijack your post, but I struggled with the same problem and wished someone had showed me that. Thanks so much for your video!

I create playlists depending on what show I am doing at a current time. People seem to see the idea of quickly connecting to a laptop and downloading your SET as time wasting but it's so quick, takes 20 seconds and my show is ready to rock and roll :)
I feel super silly asking this, but I've had this pedal for a few weeks now and I can't seem to work out if there is a way to use the CTL1 switch to switch between the effect and a clean tone (and not just turning on/off one of the effects such as a distotion). Can you please help?
Tom Baker of course u can! What I recommend is somewhere on the side setup the 2 sounds u wanna switch between. Then write down the settings and use the assign and set them to ctl1, using the min/max combinations to sort this out. For example distortion, no effect would be ctl Max, ctl mind would be fx on and other amp settings. If you need more help pop me a message!

Unfortunately not, that's why you save your set lists on the Software and just APPLY them before every gig. It is how ever possible to connect an FS6 pedal and turn all the footswitches (5 now of them) into a form of manual mode. IE stomp boxes
Ok, thanks. As a guitarist (I play both bass and guitar) I work with the Roland GP-16 and GP-100. It's a breeze to switch between the patches on these old units, so I wonder why this non-linear approach isn't possible on the newer effects. It's a nuisance. It started with Digitech, if I remember correctly.
I wish you could us ctl to select latches and the other switcues to scroll...dont know why no three switch pedal offers this. Male ctl pedal do two things..if on the patvh your on yave it set as an aktrnate switch. If sctolled to another patch have it select
