possible combinations vs application 1. Only multipliers - matching 2. Only fingers - matching not required capacitance is reduced 3 multiplier and finger combination - matching, capacitance, area tradeoff
Hi Srikanth, Already two videos, one about SERDES introduction and second one about CTLE is available. Please go thru. I will put across other videos in coming weeks.
what about the ron resistor? does ron resistor increase if i increase the the number of finger? in cadence i saw if i only increase the number of finger, ron resistor doesn't reduce, and increase slidly. thanks
Current mirror transistors are used as current sources.. and not as switch.. so ON resistance does not come into picture.. output resistance of the current source is important…
Great effort sir,
Thanks for the video...
The videos are very helpful sir, i appreciate your great work.
14:26 nice explanation about how if we are not careful instead 2*w/l the aspect ratio of shared transistor or multipliers could become w/(4*l).
Fingers are like your hand fingers which cannot be seperated. Multipliers can be separated and are very useful in matching.
Ur teaching awesome sir
Thanks for the feedback
best explanation i have seen....
possible combinations vs application
1. Only multipliers - matching
2. Only fingers - matching not required capacitance is reduced
3 multiplier and finger combination - matching, capacitance, area tradeoff
Great
Thank you very much sir provide knowledge sharing
Can you please make a video on CDR, CTLE, DFE, LDO blocks function

Thank you sir
Hi sir, please do more videos about layout concepts and please explain about finfet
ok
can you make a video for checking drain and gate fingers so that to analyze the performance of FET
Ok...for high speed performance you mean?
thank you sir

Great video. Could you have Length of Diffusion video? Thanks
sure...
Thank you. Looking forward to view it soon.
Is resistance remains constant? For Multiplier and fingers?
yes..but contact resistance may vary as per the layout
Analog Layout & Design Thank you
Thank you so much , You are doing great job in all videos .
Please provide your contact info as well
Please drop a email on jt.analog@gmail.com...with your contact details
please cover all analog layout topics
Sure.. thanks for the comment. If you have any questions, please post it in the comments section.
16:45 he himself confused
If U understood the concept there is no confusion.. otherwise confusion will remain for ever
16:45 may be you did a mistake
