Cool idea. Just seems like a lot of work to assemble/disassemble, compared to blowing up an inflatable kayak. Of course the benefit is you can get to/from the location on bike which means don't necessarily have to go back to starting point or be picked up by someone -- but I reckon I'd quickly get sick & tired of the assembly/disassembly process as the novelty wears off.

That drive shaft is pretty clever. It might be better to have the frame stay together with the floats, and fold up somehow.
I don't think the drive shaft/power train can produce enough horsepower to propel the "craft" as seen in the videos.
