I think he likes her. He really does, but it's not that fair like with Meave. And, we all expected Otis with Meave at seasons one and two, but before Otis lost their virginity with Ruby all things became difficult. But YES, I think that the producers need to think more about this couple, and it has to be now, cause Meave it's going to America.

The thing that is so compelling about these two is the incredible amount of growth that both characters go through together. Yes, they have incredible chemistry but that is second to how good they are for each other. Ruby learns to be softer and more tolerant and Otis begins to be more assertive. And while all this happens they make each other happy….that is why this couple needs to end together. On a different note the potential interactions between Jakob and Ruby or Jean and Ruby would be hilarious…😂😂😂🤣….
I'm a Rotis shipper too, but Ruby doesn't need to drop her pride anymore, she did and Otis was the problem. I hope we get to see Otis realizing that maeve is not worthy anymore, and give Ruby the love she deserves.

Otis's eyes was still set on Maeve to the point he doesn't realize the one in front of him. Maeve being out of the picture in S4 will bring to light of his true feelings and love for Ruby that he'll probably seek her out once again. Ruby still loves Otis and always will because he is/was very special to her. She fought Hope for Otis, she told him that she doesn't hate him and that if she did it'd be easier for her to ignore him, and she stared at him during the trip.

The scenes of passion opened your hearts, The laughter and joy they shared (bowling) filled your hearts along with the sincere introduction of Rubies Dad and Otis helping. And When Ruby said I LOVE YOU and Otis didn’t say it back brought a tear to everyone! I truly hope and pray that they end with them together!

I don’t think they would do it just because of the fans but I really hope they do get them back together, either way they have something really big planned for Ruby in season 4, why else would they spend the first 5 episodes of season 3 developing her character so well only to just pretty much get rid of her in the last 3 episodes and just make all that development for nothing, so whether or not she gets back with Otis (which they had fucking better or imma kill someone, nobody in particular just whoever is nearby) she’s definitely going to have a huge role in season 4

This couple in the show was so unexpected but it was so nice to see Ruby change but also Otis. Started rewatching the series, there is so much to study about them, some of the camera shots are magic, when they break up in her room, his refection in the mirror, some much to take from it. He was always in front on the right, here he wasn't it was changing if the dynamic of their relationship, when she asks him to stay and he declines, she's visibly saddened, but he doesn't notice, symbolic of the whole relationship, she made so many changes for him, she grew, but he tried and refused to change and she accepted. Times they kissed is seemed very awkward and fumbled. Such great development. Like prospectors in the 1800's, I don't think the writers knew the gold they have found in these two.
There's no way Maeve and Otis can come back from this. Motis was a depressing emo relationship that Otis has outgrown. The writers probably did not bank on how popular ruby Otis would be and are going to have a really hard time selling Maeve back to us.
Totally agree…matter of fact it was straight up off putting. I really disliked the kiss scene. There has been so much drama before that moment that once it happened it was just BAD. I guess the combination of over extending the drama between Otis and Maeve, plus the un expected success and chemistry of Ruby + Otis just broke our tolerance.

Sex education is such a big name on Netflix nowadays. Under every video I've watched similar to this one (cause I am obsessed with Rotis) literally EVERYONE wants Rotis to be the Endgame. I can not possibly imagine that the Filmmakers would dare upsetting such a mass of people only to fulfil their own dream of Motis. Be realistic: for them, its only about the money and success of the series. And since so many things have changed over the 3 currently existing Seasons, I believe they will find a way to make everybody happy with Rotis. Maeve probably ends up happy with nobody. Looking at how many times she changed her mind in various aspects, she never needed Otis, has she?!

I dated this girl for 2 and a half years but we are incompatible and I had to break up with her a few months ago. when we completed something like 3 months together we went to a karaoke with some friends, my sister was there too, then my ex (at the moment she was my gf, obviously) and a friend of her sang that damn song, she sang that looking at me with a passionate expression and it felt so good to be loved, now it is all over. at least that friend that sang with her became my sister's bf, they've been together for more than 2 years and I really hope they marry in a few years, I'd lose every single bit of hope in love if they don't end up together
I feel so bad for Ruby. The whole confident Diva act has just been that--an act. She has always been so guarded and seemingly aloof. Is it any wonder she's never invited anyone to her house or to meet her dad? And now, she finally lets Otis in, and she genuinely falls in love with him. To think, this nerd that she always pretended was beneath her is the one to inadvertently break her heart. 😪 But one thing she has learned is to open up a bit and reveal her true feelings, at least to her friends (or her followers). Who knows if she will let anyone in ever again? But maybe Otis has been the inspiration she has needed to understand it's okay for others to see who she really is.

Also she definitely should have let him in because it allowed her to realise just how strong her feelings were for him, I think she liked him even before they started having casual sex and that’s why she did it in the first place, I know she said it was because she makes out with nerdy boys when she’s sad but IMO that’s complete bs, because surely a lot more popular boys would be bragging to their friends that they slept with the most popular girl in school. Season 4 was the last season of sex education, and i personally think that the person who wrote the script could have done better since Otis was all alone at the very end.They could have done so, Otis and Ruby ended up making up and started dating again i would have been happy about this.

Started rewatching the series, there is so much to study about them, some of the camera shots are magic, when they break up in her room, his refection in the mirror, some much to take from it. He was always in front on the right, here he wasn't it was changing if the dynamic of their relationship, when she asks him to stay and he declines, she's visibly saddened, but he doesn't notice, symbolic of the whole relationship, she made so many changes for him, she grew, but he tried and refused to change and she accepted. Times they kissed is seemed very awkward and fumbled. Such great development. Like prospectors in the 1800's, I don't think the writers knew the gold they have found in these two.
There's no way Maeve and Otis can come back from this. Motis was a depressing emo relationship that Otis has outgrown. The writers probably did not bank on how popular ruby Otis would be and are going to have a really hard time selling Maeve back to us.
Maeve and Otis kissing scenes felt flat because of how great Otis and Ruby was in the first three episodes imo.
Motis kissing scenes was very unsatisfying and boring, I forgot their chemistry when I watched how Rubu changed for Otis, they should be endgame
Totally agree…matter of fact it was straight up off putting. I really disliked the kiss scene. There has been so much drama before that moment that once it happened it was just BAD. I guess the combination of over extending the drama between Otis and Maeve, plus the un expected success and chemistry of Ruby + Otis just broke our tolerance.

@@alcoholbodyspray4811 This is exactly what I've been saying. It was all way too convenient. They are trying to smoosh Motis back together. It was badly done. Motis for most fans is a dead parrot, with all the Maeve fans trying to sell it to us saying 'look it's still moving'.

Otis deserved to be alone at the end since he broke up with her, and i personally think that they were the best couple.
So love triangles are the classic rom com tropes and the series looks like its setting that up -- Otis, Maves, Ruby - Eric, Adam, Rahim. The writers of Sex Education love putting their spin on classic tropes and I look forward to seeing what they do with these characters.

otis season 3 episode 5 was the last time we saw otis being a lovable character, then proceds to became unbeareble with no arc at all, being an ass with no consequences or lessons to be learn. Truly dissapointing on how the writers destroy his character just for the sake of it.
How stupid love is sometimes. We get attracted to the forbidden fruit, and weep profusely when realize we can’t have it for some reason or other. It’s painful.

Sex education is such a big name on Netflix nowadays. Under every video I've watched similar to this one (cause I am obsessed with Rotis) literally EVERYONE wants Rotis to be the Endgame. I can not possibly imagine that the Filmmakers would dare upsetting such a mass of people only to fulfil their own dream of Motis. Be realistic: for them, its only about the money and success of the series. And since so many things have changed over the 3 currently existing Seasons, I believe they will find a way to make everybody happy with Rotis. Maeve probably ends up happy with nobody. Looking at how many times she changed her mind in various aspects, she never needed Otis, has she?!
If they don't get back together in next season I will RIOT

I feel so bad for Ruby. The whole confident Diva act has just been that--an act. She has always been so guarded and seemingly aloof. Is it any wonder she's never invited anyone to her house or to meet her dad? And now, she finally lets Otis in, and she genuinely falls in love with him. To think, this nerd that she always pretended was beneath her is the one to inadvertently break her heart. 😪 But one thing she has learned is to open up a bit and reveal her true feelings, at least to her friends (or her followers). Who knows if she will let anyone in ever again? But maybe Otis has been the inspiration she has needed to understand it's okay for others to see who she really is.

At what point didn’t she trust him? Also she definitely should have let him in because it allowed her to realise just how strong her feelings were for him, I think she liked him even before they started having casual sex and that’s why she did it in the first place, I know she said it was because she makes out with nerdy boys when she’s sad but IMO that’s complete bs, because surely a lot more popular boys would be bragging to their friends that they slept with the most popular girl in school. If she hadn’t let him in she never would have realised just how much she loved him, and with Maeve gone there’s still a chance for them to get back together.

Her breaking it off was momentary emotional reaction, followed by self preservation. But hopefully she’ll date someone else and realize the difference and then fight for them

Season 4 was the last season of sex education, and i personally think that the person who wrote the script could have done better since Otis was all alone at the very end.They could have done so, Otis and Ruby ended up making up and started dating again i would have been happy about this.
Still so sad about Ruby, still so mad at Otis and most importantly the screenwriter and whoever approves this script.

I don't know who's gonna hate me but, Otis and Ruby deserved each other. It was dick move by Otis to completely dismay his feelings for Ruby. Ruby had never opened herself to anyone except Otis and Maeve on the other just toyed around with Otis in both the seasons. I really hope the next season really shows this beautiful arc of Otis and Ruby together and we get to see "Rotis" together finally....
