I find it amazing that the puppy was cautious but not cowering or whining in fear. The puppy stayed at a distance but wasn’t fearful. He comes from an amazing breed.
Corsos for some reason rarely show fear even as puppies but they aren't stupid they will fight courageously but only when necessary and other options do not exsist. Most balanced guardian dog/dom breed ive seen. Even more so than gsds. I've seen corsos back down from unnecessary fights or try and avoid more than gsds and you know they know they are the more likely to win but still will not cower but avoid/walk away or I suppose not escalate the tension by being reactive.

My cousin also has 3 little girls under the age of 5 and his corso is incredibly careful and agile just walking around them so he doesn't bump them as the little girls are learning to walk and crawl. The awareness he has of his huge body around them is amazing. Corsos are especially beautiful, intelligent breeds.

They wouldn't dare to attack most likely, servals are one of the most successfully domesticaded cats, they more or less aware that if they attack to anyone in the house including thag puppy, that will have severe repercussions, they hiss and stare at strangers or newborn cubs etc, but in my experience they rarely attack to things if you introduce them properly.

The other one barely survived.

They wouldn't dare to attack most likely, servals are one of the most successfully domesticaded cats, they more or less aware that if they attack to anyone in the house including thag puppy, that will have severe repercussions, they hiss and stare at strangers or newborn cubs etc, but in my experience they rarely attack to things if you introduce them properly.

He backed up and just stayed silent. 1 year later, the same malinois were unleashed and tried attacking him in my neighborhood park. My dog, 190 pounds, wouldn’t let go of the neck of one of the dogs despite being bitten by the other in the back. Both dogs were taken to the vet immediately. My remained unhurt. The other one barely survived.
