- @leevancamp visits Whisby Garden Centre near Lincoln and looks at fishes and aquariums to start your own aquarium. Also in the garden centre is the Works that sell quality value items such as stationery,arts and crafts,books ,games,toys, puzzles,jigsaws, art equipment, paints,haberdashers, and party accessories. Nearly all you need in one shop for your Christmas presents. Lee has a triple cheese burger and draws a face in ice cream.

Great video, I hate shopping of any kind but put me amongst art stuff, pads, paints, pencils sketch pads and I would happily spend hours there. Would love to see some painting videos if you get chance 😊

Hi lee i loved your video the works is one of my favorite shops i got 3 books yesterday for mysself my son years ago when he was at school loved drawing and took up art at school i wish the works was open then im going back in the 80s i would of bought him a lot of art stuff the was only the art shop open and that was really expensive he wanted an easel but at the art shop they wanted about 30 pound for a small one that was way out of my price range as i was a single mum then on benifits then at the works you can buy alsorts of things like babies books to adult books are and craft stuff and smalĺ toys and puzzlesthanks for the video lee love fran xxx

Yes, Lee van Cough ! get painting. Lee do you draw your image of your face you are going to paint on to your canvas or do you get a big image from a photo and put it on . What I don't understand is how do you know where to put light an dark ? I've not painted for ages was hoping you might start me off again with a new way. Come on you keep on about it. Take care x

Yes some fish you need to be very careful with mixing fish, as they can. E very tempromental with each other. If you go the Marine route , that is very very expensive, adding the different things the water needs,. The sea salt is 60 plus ponds a tub. And lasts no time. Then you have to keep checking different levels. And live food. Our other son has koi fish in a huge pond the things he has in there is costly but look lovely , they even have a heater and air con unit for the summer months. It looks a very nice place your in. Lots on offer.

@@leevancamp yes your right there Lee I could believe how much they were, our youngest sons marine fish are the same, , you just have to hope they service hehe. Neither go out drinking they’re enjoyment is their fish.. plus we all like nice cars hehe.

Great place Lee, love the fish. That was my favourite present at Christmas 2, my dad used to buy me the best brushes and all my painst I loved getting his present always for my art, he always did that was the best. Love the works great for art stuff. Have a lovely week take care. ❤x

We've parted
Me & my x husband used to keep tropical fish. They were lovely & doing really well, everytime I looked in their had been more born (well, not everytime lol) then after a few years we had a powercut that lasted through the night. We wrapped the spare quilt around the tank & was so relieved to see we hadn't lost any the next morning but, when we got home from work we had lost quite a few then, over the next few days, we lost them all, it broke my heart. Still hurts thinking about it now. 😢 x

Hi lee, agree the art stuff is cheap, ive tried painting, not very good though, but i do enjoy it. Yes you ought to do more painting as your really good. That diamond painting looked interesting, what is it, do you know? Love garden centres, so much to see. , food looked nice and reasonable prices. Cool graphics and music, x

I use the water colour pencils, I’m not an artist but I have a go, and they are good for beginners.
You can get some good effects with them .
That works is huge, we have two tiny ones in our town and they both sell the same items, sensible not.

@@leevancampIn a Bush. Fruit salads & Black Jacks cost 3 pees or more each now, you dont get a handful of them for a penny anymore. If you bought a few of those aquariums you might have enough change for a Fruit salad.
