Some very professional throws that were dropped. Loved him in college and really think he can do great things with Pitts and London

    • @romain8390

I don’t think he’s that good.. Imma call it now, he’s not your future starter. These are some of the same things I saw at Cincinnati. Yes there were some drops, but he badly placed some of those passes where the receivers had to unnecessarily extend to try to make the catch. He missed throws downfield, as he did often in college, and he should have been picked to close out the game. I like him as a developmental backup, but nothing more.

@@romain8390 I'm an Eagels fan so I have no horse in this race, just like to see young QB's develop. I'm not a big college football fan so I can't claim I've seen a lot of what he's done at Cincinnati. But with Arthur Smith as head coach, and the tools Ritter has; mobility mainly, I see no reason why they can't develop him into a solid starter. Especially with a Kyle Pitts and a London there too. Not saying he's gonna be an all pro, but I like what I saw. It's pre season so we gotta take it with a grain of salt

I seen some good things out there. Guys have to help their QB out by catching the football. Hopefully he’ll sit all year and learn and build and be ready to go next year. If the Falcons can build the defense they can be ok in the near future. They’re building something on offense. Ridder is a winner, he’s won on every level.

As an eagles die hard fan all my life. we've seen it happen with hurts and what he turned into. I dont think he will ever be on Jalens level as a dual threat QB but I honestly think he will win on sunday and give the eagles a better pick from last years saints draft trade. ( pick is Currently top 5🔥) Desmond will win falcons qb1 job and the kid will have a solid year next year and make the falcons an above average team again. • @jasonwatkins5902
    @jasonwatkins5902 2 года назад

He’s smart smart too. You can see in all the passes he makes and his thought process with the sport fr. A pass first, taller Mike Vick. Being in the league w aaallll the tools and really stepping up another level, he’ll be one of the best QBs of all time👀👀... already has ball placement and an arm, but he’ll get a stronger arm, and more experience/learning with the sport and what to do. There’s a run TD he had where he lowered his shoulder into his lineman to block who he wanted blocked so he could score, that’s his IQ on run plays as well... he stays healthy and literally just continues doing him, he’ll be up there idc I’m calling it now😂
Even the passes that looked bad or like DB could’ve got it, they were not close. They were lifting their arm’s by the time it was to the receiver. STAY CONFIDENT THEY’RE STILL GREAT PASSES. Just keep your receivers healthy too🤨

He had like 4 bad passes. The rest was dropped really good passes. And I feel like 4 preseason games. He would be ready to be a starter or at lest till week 3

Most of the incompletions were on the receivers, but I saw some bad decision throws into coverage that should have been picked off. They were on target, but shouldn't have been thrown.

Why does Ridder look older than Tom Brady?

Am in the only one bothered by the game clock being shown to one decimal point?

If only half of Ritter's dropped throws were caught, the end score would have been 40 something.

Saw 7 in the hand dropped passes from the receivers

Damn, Ridder threw a bunch of great passes that were clearly terrible drops! He had a few poor throws but for his NFL debut, I think he’s showing great promise!! Watch out Matiota

This is alarming if the receivers are dropping passes. Ridder was doing his job as a QB.

Who else is coming back to these highlights after being constantly disappointed by Mariotta? I want Ridder to start so damn bad.
edit: THE TIME HAS FINALLY COME!

Every other rookie QB may have more “talent” or “arm” than Ridder, but based on this performance, Ridder clearly has the perfect balance of everything including a mind that’s smart and determined. Falcons got a steal.

arm not talent maybe, ridder and also pickett and matt corral have one of the best arms in college.

Still worried about his accuracy. This was a mixed bag and that’s okay, he is gonna be one of the guys that has to sit and learn for awhile before he can be the starter. He definitely seems mature, just unpolished and we only spent a 3 on him so it’s no big deal .

@@corvus2512 yeah, to be fair his receivers dropped quite a few passes. Pretty decent for a first game.

@@corvus2512 honestly I saw a lot of great passes in this game, but too many careless drops on the receiver end. I want to see Ridder throwing to the starters.
