I hate working -period. So, I decided to make my channel more like a vlog/memoir channel where I share my healing/personal growth journey, & what I'm doing to design a life I love at the big age of 49! I guess I'll just keep on going and motivating! Get started on that faceless channel and let us know when you post your first video so we can watch and route for you! If you're making a faceless page because you're afraid to get on camera, push that fear to the side and get in front of that camera. You can sometimes see my wireless earbud in my right ear, that's feeding me my script. I would be mute on screen without it. You can do anything you want but don't let fear stop you.

💧 big tears running down my cheeks right now. I loved your message in this video. Almost exactly one year ago, I started two RUclips channels! In the beginning the fire burned hot! The learning curve was exciting! Then life, old tapes in my head started getting louder. It has been 6 months since creating, pretty much anything.😢. Two days ago, a spark of interest in trying again have bubbled up in me. Your message, is fanning those little sparks! Thank you. I will be filming by the end of the day. Great point about using other people’s content. I say this all the time to my clients who want to start on RUclips. A lot of people get viral views from doing that. But what happens when you just want to focus on delivering your own message? I’ve seen creators go through that and end up quitting because they stopped getting massive views when they weren’t regurgitating other people's content. It’s okay to do from time to time to reiterate a point or to give credit to someone who inspired your message. But these reaction videos are just too much. That space has become oversaturated. Also, it’s very difficult to build true followers who show up for you if you only present other people’s content. I personally don’t like to watch someone watch a video. It doesn’t make sense to me. I like the slower pace of listening to one person share their viewpoints and thoughts. It gives me time to truly digest the content and derive deeper meaning from it and a better connection with the creator.
Well said! Thank you for that message. When I watch other people react to videos, I care more about the videos they're reacting to than them so yeah I'm over that. That was just me in my head thinking I'm not an expert on the subject so I'll pull in other people who are "more qualified" to speak on it.

I am working on faceless, inspirational videos, digital products and more. I'm going to get it together. I am also real big on current events that affect my community ie homelessness, politics and raising my last two children.

I was just talking to a friend about HOW SLOWLY my channel is growing. 😂 We had this whole conversation about not comparing yourself to others. Then I found your video right after. Isn’t it funny? But your last quote: “ am the reason my dreams aren’t realized. Yep. I keep thinking about how much I’ve always wanted to create things - create art and paintings. Since I was YOUNG I have wanted to. And over and over I’ve tried to make a business out of it. But every time I’ve given up. There is some aspect that I wouldn’t like and then I’d just stop. (Ie I don’t want to be in galleries or have to go to craft fairs - I have special needs animals that keep me from traveling too much right now and the gallery scene just doesn’t appeal to me). But I always return to painting. Always. I think about where I’d be if I hadn’t give up time and again. But then again, like the sun and moon, they shine when it’s their time. Perhaps this time I will shine and not set over the mountains, lol. Thanks for this video!
You're welcome and thank you so much for watching. You don't have to be like everyone else. If you don't want to be in galleries or go to fairs then don't. Just ask God (or the Universe if you don't believe in God) for exactly what you want. Only think about what you want so you will attract those things. Believe with everything in you that you will get exactly what you want and don't think about how it will happen. Act on the thoughts that pop into your head of what you should do because that's the universe giving you ways to get exactly what you want.
OMG! I kept going to channels looking at their oldest video as well. LOL I stopped doing that as well. I kept studying so many other creators until finally I said enough! I also am focusing on personal development, because putting yourself out there is hard. I want to be a good example to my middle school kids that I teach that you can use your fear to drive you so I am putting out content and up to 12 videos in about 30 days of starting my channel. Congrats to you 😊
Yes it's so freeing to forget about what everybody else is doing and just focus on yourself. That's a great life lesson to teach the kids. It's my teachers who taught us about life that I will never forget so keep giving your students lasting memories.

You don't need fancy equipment now, because the affordable equipment now can give you the quality of the fancy equipment back then. I started my channel without the intention of growing it but then it evolved and picked up momentum. It is not a short journey but I find that one grows with it. Now it is time for me to start taking my channel very seriously to make sure it passes the RUclips evaluation after I meet the hours of views criteria. I have been watching advice from other creators and that is how your video got suggested to me.

When you watch a video that gives advice, take the advice that works for you. Make sure your descriptions have keywords for what you're talking about and definitely name your video file a bunch of keywords describing the video, before you upload it so youtube knows exactly what it's about.

Thank you for subscribing! I'm the opposite, I haven't gotten any inspiration to do shorts yet, so I've been sticking to long form. Both can be impactful. You can have a full successful channel with only shorts, so don't feel compelled to do long form.

It’s okay to do from time to time to reiterate a point or to give credit to someone who inspired your message. But these reaction videos are just too much. That space has become oversaturated. Also, it’s very difficult to build true followers who show up for you if you only present other people’s content.
I personally don’t like to watch someone watch a video. It doesn’t make sense to me. I like the slower pace of listening to one person share their viewpoints and thoughts. It gives me time to truly digest the content and derive deeper meaning from it and a better connection with the creator.
Well said! Thank you for that message. When I watch other people react to videos, I care more about the videos they're reacting to than them so yeah I'm over that. That was just me in my head thinking I'm not an expert on the subject so I'll pull in other people who are "more qualified" to speak on it.

I am working on faceless, inspirational videos, digital products and more. I'm going to get it together. I am also real big on current events that affect my community ie homelessness, politics and raising my last two children.

I was just talking to a friend about HOW SLOWLY my channel is growing. 😂 We had this whole conversation about not comparing yourself to others. Then I found your video right after. Isn’t it funny? But your last quote: “ am the reason my dreams aren’t realized. Yep. I keep thinking about how much I’ve always wanted to create things - create art and paintings. Since I was YOUNG I have wanted to. And over and over I’ve tried to make a business out of it. But every time I’ve given up. There is some aspect that I wouldn’t like and then I’d just stop. (Ie I don’t want to be in galleries or have to go to craft fairs - I have special needs animals that keep me from traveling too much right now and the gallery scene just doesn’t appeal to me). But I always return to painting. Always. I think about where I’d be if I hadn’t give up time and again. But then again, like the sun and moon, they shine when it’s their time. Perhaps this time I will shine and not set over the mountains, lol. Thanks for this video!

Just ask God (or the Universe if you don't believe in God) for exactly what you want. Only think about what you want so you will attract those things. Believe with everything in you that you will get exactly what you want and don't think about how it will happen. Act on the thoughts that pop into your head of what you should do because that's the universe giving you ways to get exactly what you want.
OMG! I kept going to channels looking at their oldest video as well. LOL I stopped doing that as well. I kept studying so many other creators until finally I said enough! I also am focusing on personal development, because putting yourself out there is hard. I want to be a good example to my middle school kids that I teach that you can use your fear to drive you so I am putting out content and up to 12 videos in about 30 days of starting my channel. Congrats to you 😊
Yes it's so freeing to forget about what everybody else is doing and just focus on yourself. That's a great life lesson to teach the kids. It's my teachers who taught us about life that I will never forget so keep giving your students lasting memories.

You don't need fancy equipment now, because the affordable equipment now can give you the quality of the fancy equipment back then. I started my channel without the intention of growing it but then it evolved and picked up momentum. It is not a short journey but I find that one grows with it. Now it is time for me to start taking my channel very seriously to make sure it passes the RUclips evaluation after I meet the hours of views criteria. I have been watching advice from other creators and that is how your video got suggested to me.
