For Amy to dance so gracefully and with such agility & talent as a bilateral lower extremity amputee is beyond remarkable. She is the definition of inspiration and courage. God bless her. Respect.

I remember when these aired wondering why she needed different feet for the one dance, and now that I've had my legs amputated I totally get it, lol and respect this even more now that I understand how impossible some of the simplest things are without ankles!
I think whoever costumed Amy did an amazing job.All the different feet she wore had some movement restrictions and the costuming added to the movements she was able to make.
This woman has courage, determination, and soul. While there are better dancers in this world, there are probably none so heroic, and so inspirational.
I rooted for Meryl, but Amy was great that season and certainly inspiring. In her book, Amy also said she was happy to be in the finale with Meryl and they've remained friends.

That season came waaay too easily for Meryl Davis. I really wanted to see Amy Purdy win. She deserved it.
Meryl and maks had not great chemistry but they both danced as equals. So I can understand why they won.

I didn’t see this season, but Amy was robbed. The skater was a pretty dancer but this girl is fun, beautiful and so multitalented!
