Suggestions based on own old and new houses experiences: 1) get very very good pest remover to use chemical and fogging etc remove all kinds of pest possible and avoid future growth 2)ask the owner remove all furniture if the pests/mold cannot be removed from them 3) get special cleaner company to help with removal of mold and mould on walls etc But most importantly, to reduce humidity and mold/mould/mildew/fungus.......OPEN ALL WINDOW... actually i fully agree with 1 of the comments, the lake dont directly caused humidity that will cause mould n mold in all houses that face lake....the worse is lack of VENTILATION..my own experience: before i moved into my new house, i left it unused for 1 year (its not near any lake). So when i want to move in, then my cupboard surface "swell" as there was mould/mold/feel damp and wet... when i started moving in my things, but not stay there yet(hence no windown open daily) my clothes also become damp and smell even when i used dehumidifier whenever im there to move my things....the problem was really resolved only when I moved in and all windows were open daily, when there is more movement of fresh air in and out of the place and i continue using dehumidifier for 1 month. The problem was immediately solved and never came back. The new cupboard which i never understand why its damp as there is no pipes leaking nearby.. become normal. The "wet swelling" of the laminate dissappear

If this place is not rented for two years- that’s a reason and the landlord should know and they didn’t do anything about it. Please take care of your wife and your baby- that’s very important especially giving them a comfortable environment. Wish you quickly find another place and move out as soon.

Same as our previous house. The humidity level was very high. Mainly is because no sunlight coming into our unit. I have thrown away all my branded leather bags due to mold problems. There were many cockroaches also. From my experience, there is no way you can get rid of this humidity problem. The moulds on the table wooden legs will forever keep coming back no matter how you clean it. We have finally moved to another place after a few years living there. I’m glad that we have moved. Perhaps you could request the owner to end the contract earlier without compensation since this problem could not be foreseen before you moved in?
Use undiluted vinegar and spray bottle. Spray on the mold directly (dining table). Leave it for an hour or so then just wipe it with damp cloth and leave it dry by itself. Vinegar smell will go after few hours or overnight. Make sure room with good ventilation (not rainy day).

I’m currently working in a paint manufacturer company and my job is on project basis. To tell you the truth no residential developer is willing to spend money on anti-bacteria paint, the price is x3 compared to normal emulsion paint 😂. And the bug is called case-bearing clothes moth, my house is exposed with super bright sunlight most of the days but these bugs still exist😢. If you check out malaysia's weather. on a normal day it's always 80-90% humidity. If you turn on aircondition it will reduce drastically to 40-50%. dehumidifer acts the same as your airconditioner. if you check out the pipe from the airconditioner, it emits just as much water.
That's called a household casebearer. Usually happens when the area is too humid. Feeds on mold, dust, hair, fabric too. When there's one, there'll be a lot as they reproduce really quick. Try cleaning and wash all fabric/clothes at affected area to ensure the larvae/eggs are clear up. Other bugs, suggest have a pest control to access your place for advice and treatment. :)
Just engage a pest control company yo get rid of all those insects, worms etc.... Don't waste time to try all sorts of tips and suggestions from others. There is also professionals who are able to advise you on how to reduce the house moisture.
I haven’t tried other brands but I like the one I got. Appearance is good, functions well, and not too noisy. The only thing I would have liked better is a larger water tank so it can soak up more water per day.
Put some charcoal, and your wife is pregnant, the 发霉 is really not good for her because air will polluted with mold… mold is bad for respiratory, pls talk to owner …. Don’t be good if it’s harming ur family

我建議最好是搬家喔，因為家具發霉的話，霉菌會在空氣中亂飄，新生兒吸入霉菌會肺炎！新生兒肺炎是有生命危險的，因為治療肺炎要打抗生素，那麼小的寶寶打抗生素對他以後的身體健康都會留下一些困擾，真的建議換房，而且新生兒寶寶是需要每天曬太陽的呀，剛出生的寶寶又不能經常帶去戶外，如果房間也沒有太陽對寶寶真的不好！現在的解決辦法是你要把發霉的地方全部找出來，噴灑酒精，然後我建議你去找一下清潔公司可以用臭氧除菌的，他們會有一種臭氧機器，打開後對全屋除菌，包括小蟲都會死掉的，而且臭氧除菌是安全的，開窗通風後就沒有殘留了，比用殺蟲劑之類的安全更多！我在泰國這邊租房前房東都會先清潔公司臭氧除菌的。除菌後你們抓緊時間找新房吧。

Hi Curtis you may try using Dettol spray for the fungus on the table, it works for my wooden wardrobe.
湖是在阳光底下的，在中午到傍晚时分可以开开窗户让一些湿气流通；虽然家里面是阴暗和潮湿，但中午只要有阳光户外的空气流通是热的或是干凉的。因为你们的窗户是关上的，肯定是屋子里本身的问题。

还要住两年的话想一下之后CJ 出来也要住在里面，对刚出生的宝宝真的很不好哦，夸张到衣柜在橱里都会发霉，可想而知那个潮湿度多可怕。中午12点最热的时候可以试试把阳台的窗户打开15分钟，不然就是跟屋主说，把整个房子的油漆换掉，换成防潮的，如果屋主不肯，那还是再找地方搬走吧
我觉得你家环境是属于阴湿不是潮湿，空气有适当的潮湿对皮肤是好的，阴湿是因为你住家室内常年没有阳光照进，所以家里就会容易出现霉菌，长期在阴湿空气环境生活对身体不好，加上老婆又有孕在身，可别忘了阳光是天然的消毒剂，希望我的解说可以帮到你😊

我家也是面对这样的问题，整个家都是霉菌放了除湿剂还是不行厕所天花板也是漏水已经弄了好几次，屋主还起我租金他说因为我们这区很多人找。真的很无语，房子已经这样还起租金。一开始住的时候是没有问题，日子久了霉菌越来越多而且刚刚更新合约。屋主是说可以解约。还是要看情况。最好选的楼层偏高一点10 到 20楼有阳光照进来。因为我的楼层是最底楼。

Use Ur your AC in Dry mode it act almost same to dehumidifier no need set low temp.
潮濕蟲 可以當活化石了，台灣之前有一個博物館在蒐集這種蟲，太潮濕才會這樣，盡量除濕就好了，可以搭配紫外燈（有臭氧）固定照射會好很多

可以叫屋主加盖在那些容易喷水进来的地方，就是屋顶加长到雨水不会喷进来，包括房间的窗口外也加上屋瓦，毕竟一时半会也不能解约，要不就是尽快搬家

The worm is called book licks. Due to moldy. They will grow by themselves as they reproduced very fast.
