      I don't understood , since nerve fibres r misdirected to LPS , so how is Inferior rectus working????? I mean inferior rectus now has no nerve supply due to misdirection , so how it is able to move eye downwards????

    Thank you, doctor. Your explanation was very helpful. But I have a question to ask: is this similar to the facial muscle linkage caused by facial nerve (CN VII) injury? What is the impact of these similar axonal misinnervation regenerations on the recovery of muscle function?
