Some more death lightning spells would be cool. Infact, some more death spells overall is very needed. I think there's only 2 death spells in the whole game.
@@ppman698 That's something I never really understood, Deathblight and Madness should apply with enemies aswell. I mean death blight I can kinda understand, but madness has no reason being only pvp.

One thing about that Malenia fight, the reason she was using waterfowl a lot is because using spells resets the waterfowl countdown, so she might end up spamming it against caster builds if you get unlucky. I'm currently trying to defeat her with carian slicer and it's hell because of that mechanic

Jsut a tip for any any pure caster type runs in elden ring. You should use the erdtree seal because it has better incant scaling and the gravel seal still provides the boost in the offhand.
@@JKLeedsit depends how high your faith was at the end. The gravel stone seal keeps up with the erdtree seal until your faith is at like 65+. My main character is a lightning paladin that has 50 faith and there the gravel seal is pretty much the best
Sad thing is that the Gargoyles would've likely been easier than the Mogh+Parkour path. The other and actual sad thing is that the armor you chose for its drip was actually Dragon Communion. The fun thing is that the other canvas talisman is an 8% boost, the total is a little over 12%.

He totally didn't do it just because his first choice got stuck in an Evergaol and he had to find someone else who just happened to be you. I'm sure he absolutely wanted to invite you specifically, not anyone with a Vyke-ish sounding name or something.
Since someone already mentioned the erdtree seal I'll mention that the godfrey icon boosts lightning spear and ADLS. Also, you can pretty much stunlock Gideon with Fortisaxx's Lightning Spear.
Yeah, do you know how many runs I've done in Elden Ring where the Godfrey Icon would have helped but I totally forgot about it? (Spoiler: basically every Elden Ring playthrough I've ever done 😂😂😂)

For any future build where you cant do damage at the start, you should go for that one nights cavalry in dragonbarrow you can bait off a cliff. Gives 42k so its basically the dragonrider of this game
Going for dragon mother greyoll is much more better, you can grab the flail from Mornington peninsula and a gold pickled foul foot next to the waypoint ruins. Use the flail and wail on greyoll for the bleed procs and pop the foul foot just before you kill her. It’ll take around 10 mins to kill her but you get 100k runes.

Haven't watched the video but did that this weekend. Sometimes using Bolt of Gransax against regular enemies. I can already tell you that Ancient Dragon Lightning Strike is freaking insane. I fried Placidusax with it.
You play Elden Ring the exact way I do it. It makes the game more fun to me tbh. Doing a collectathon every run gets boring imo. Just winging it with what you need is fun to me.
Answer for the question - Yes, and better you can have fun while doing so. Lightning Spear works wonders against Malenia and Ancient Dragon Lightning Strike works great against large bosses and suprisingly in PvP (invasions, not duels). Only problem here is Fortissax due to his resistance to Lightning, but nothing more than that. By testitng, lightning works great against knight-type enemies/bosses and guess what - there are a lot of knights in the game. From my perspective, there are things worth noting: -Godfrey's Icon can be heplful here, as it gives extra damage to charged Lightning Spear (not ADLS) -Enemies does not dodge charged Lightning Spear. -If someone is willing to trade, get extra Gravel Stone Seal, as with high faith 2 those Seals gives a little more damage than most powerful one, Erdtree Seal. -If you stand on a legde, ADLS lightning bolts will hit on surface lower. And that difference can be huge, just check cliff at The Four Belfires. -ADLS can decimate in PvP, even if player has 1600+ HP. Got situations, were one guy got hit with 1 bolt and received ~1k damage, other got 2 and his Vigor-check was failed with, if I remember correctly, above 50. :P Overall, LS and ADLS are 2 best incantations in game, don't try to change my mind. :)

Radagon seems to be your twin princes for me. Doesn't matter how many runs I do, something about how they teleport just doesn't let me flow like how I can with other bosses. I don't know why, but I can handle radagon (not perfectly) better than the twin princes

I did full lightning and honestly didn’t even need a weapon once I have my lightning spear basically. I did keep a lightning or keen infused Guardian Swordspear on me just in case I ran out of FP later but it wasn’t even an issue in the end

I think that, for the Rykard fight, you can use Endure or the poise flask and tank enough to cast the full ancient dragon carpet bombing

Well Bolt of Gransax is probably the most fitting weapon but unfortunately you can't get it until the Capital

You can reach it through an elevator in liurnia. Its guarded by a golem. A little after the entrance of the tower you get the curse mark from.
