American history AR1775-81CV1861-65 So because Gettysburg is a college of the liberal arts and not a university where you apply to a specific program, as long as you get into the school, picking a major is not hard and most likely will only entail you meeting with the department chair to get a form signed so you can officially declare the major. For specific requirements within the major go to this link: www.gettysburg.edu/academic-programs/history/programs/major-minor I’m don’t know about being in the National guard while enrolled (I’ve never heard of anyone doing that) but we do have ROTC (more info: www.gettysburg.edu/academic-programs/curriculum/catalog/programs-of-study/rotc ) I would definitely reach out to an Admissions counselor to get a more accurate answer to your second question (sorry I couldn’t be more help)
