This is AWESOME! In case it helps anybody: 2:20 - the lists (pre-production, production, , pos-production, artwork to publish) 3:20 - example board, lists filled out with cards (each card is a task or checklist) 4:05 - walkthrough of the full board using examples in each list 11:25 - conclusion
I found this very helpful! I use Miro as a digital collaborative whiteboard for band project management but I like this list format better. Gonna look into it! Thanks Bruce!
I chose the scope of a single to keep it simple for the sake of explanation. But there's a way to account for a whole album that perhaps I'll do next. This can kind of work at any frame of reference, if you know what I mean.
Yes, I know what you mean. If you have several tracks or an album, you would probably only use one board? The more complex it gets, wouldn't a project manager like Asana, ClickUp etc. be better than Trello?
I'm pretty sure I been living with ADHD my whole life, which might be why I gravitate to lists and processes like a life-preserver. We all have to find a system that works for us.
@@BruceBalensiefer Im officially ADHD and also a bit OCD so dont really have much to do with it. Its the writing thats the problem more then anything else.
Great video Bruce! I'm making a project flow in Notion using your example. Thanks for posting.🙏

This is really well done and thorough. As a fellow software nerd, *aspiring* musician, and undiagnosed-but-likely ADHDer, this clicks with me.
Welcome to the family!

Rad! I haven't used Miro myself. I made this for beginners but I'm extra glad it was helpful to someone with experience.
A slightly different approach, a more static Kanban board. But then you need a separate board for each track?
