When i tried With only rice flour it attracted flies bt when I again tried adding salt it didn't attract nd no changes in idol. If the weather is cool then add less amount of salt cause otherwise the idol becomes soft and loosely.
My own is melt within 2 hrs only😓i stay in nigeria and todays climate is hot 31 degree because of what salt starts releasing water and whole idol melt😪😭so i do visarjan today only

It is fresh flour and if the weather is cool add less salt and if it's hot add just as mentioned. Bt definitely add salt to avoid cracks and flies

Can we try this without all-purpose flour
Without all-purpose flour we don't get a smooth finish and it's helpful in binding the dough.
It's better if u add atleast some of it.
If we don't have orange and red food colours we can add kumkum and turmeric
