Layers, layers layers, that’s your style... love them... been watching a lot of videos before attempting to make my first journal, and you are my favorite... known and show horses and want to make authentic horse journals using old horse blankets, ribbons, back numbers, horse registration papers and actual baler twine... thought of you today while haying horses... have always wondered if someone would like the nice yellow original twine.. 😊😍 ♥️❤️
Love watching everyone making these, they are addicting. Yes broken or mismatched jewelry is the best to add. Great video thank you for sharing. You are super close and will share out your video. Blessings 👍🌺🌵🌞🌴
Frizz! I just re-watched this video, and loved it even more than the first time....why are you such a GENIUS???? Thanks for sharing and inspiring!!! xoxo
Thank you, Karla, I love your tutorial's you always make them really easy to follow, btw curly paperclips are fussy to do I need to practice more, I have used Flower wire to make lookalike paperclips too. Congratulations
Karla you are amazing! I just cant keep up with all your fab tutorials! Thank you again so much for taking the time to do all of these, i love everything! I have been away for a little while but didn’t have the time to watch when you posted them, now I’m binge watching.... Did i miss you showing how to attach (glue) fabric to a cover as yet? Always love your work Karla and also that you are not “little Miss Perfect”.... Love from down under, Dorle 😘🙃😎🇦🇺
Hi Dorle!!! Thanks for watching!! I hope I didn't do too many too fast....lol... Just trying to share more of my processes. No, you didn't miss that one. I have that on my list. I have a few others to do as well. Thank you again!!! xoxo
Karla, you can buy those chandelier crystals for real cheap, they are cool and easy to make charms with and to add on to things, the rings are easy to deal with. I use them in strands and then add on to them. They look great and you can find them for pretty cheap.

Use this link just to take a look at them and to know what to key in to find them. They make really cool dangles and are so easy to work with.
HI Shukla. I use them as charms on my journals. You can attach them to tags, to a journal tie, to some ribbon as a bookmark, really anything you want to do with them. They are just really fun to make and a great way to use up old scrap fabrics, buttons, old pieces of jewelry etc....
Hello, just watched this video and love the style thanks. Just wondering how you use them. (Sorry if it sounds like a stupid question) I have seen some other people using paper clips but the clips are not covered. Hopefully you see this and help me out. Have the best day!
Hi Sharon. I think most people in the junk journal community use them as charms on books. You can tie them to the spine as a dangle or use them with a bulb pin and pin them to fabric tabs. Thanks for watching!
@@karlafrizzelle4794 Thank you for the quick reply. That makes sense 😊 i’m so used to seeing embellished paper clips, literally as clips or covered clips. You’re making them into a sort of bead itself and then attaching it. Lovely ! Thank you looking forward to visiting your channel again soon.

Yvonne Elizondo Hi Yvonne! There are various ways to put charms on journals. If it’s a fabric journal you can use a garment pin to attach them. Or you can use a ribbon to tie them on. Search attaching charms to journals and you will find lots of videos and various types of charms. Thanks for watching!
I can sit and look at and play with findings all day.
Theses are so cute. I dont know why but they remind me of fishing lures! ❣️

They're fun to make. I'm doing it too. My question is, What are we going to do with them all when they're done?!! :))
Well, sell them, use them on journals, keep for happy mail, etc.. LOL..yeah the struggle is real right?
