Here are my two cents: This Chinese company came over to Dr. K and started to demand that he take down the video.
They walked over to him. They are the ones who made a scene. They are the ones who made it bigger than it needed to be.
PS I love my time in China. I lived there for 8 years. I personally don’t have any issues; however, their behavior was absolutely unacceptable and uncalled for. I have seen so many people in China bringing hate to this group. This is a wake-up call when they feel that they rule wherever they go. They need to realize they are not in China, and that’s reality, not racist. This wouldn’t be tolerated in China, and that’s where they were coming from. It’s a wake-up call to the TV crew: it is time to realize where you live and that you live in a different country. Do as the Romans do (‘入乡随俗’ (rù xiāng suí sú)). I know it’s hard for some people in China to be told no, and I love what Dr. K did.
Way to go! I am cheering for you from US. WHAT CHEEK- stand close to hear your (free) music and tell you what to do.

That police woman ckearly needs educating. The law is clear that anyone can film anything from a public space. She is in the wrong job if she doesn't like being filmed as for the chinese, if they dony want filming then go away
