Had the chance to meet Manolo once when he had the Mofongo-NY stand in Smorgasburg. Easily my favorite food vendor at Smorg. I go back to when they sold the chicken mofongo instead of pork. Smorgasburg hasn't been the same since Mofongo-NY left but I know Manolo's been keeping busy in PR's hurricane relief efforts. Salute to him.

You actually don't need a super expensive knife, just a sharp one. A blunt knife is actually more difficult and dangerous to cut and chop with than a sharp one. You will be fine with the IKEA knifes, just get a simple sharpener and practice slowly.

If you chop the plantain with your fingers, then you burn inside the nails, you have to use the knife, like as the puertorrican did... el mofongo relleno de camarones 🍤 es el que me gusta a mi. It’s a delicious food. I like it.
Next time you cook, turn the pot handle away from you. It can save you any accidents.

You still need to get someone in to show you basic knife skills, a food processor isn't going to solve all your problems!
Think of different series, like veganising stuff, quick 5 minutes vegan recipes, trying different vegan food, interviewing vegan chefs and so on. Make it entertaining. These videos aren't doing anything. Waste of a huge channel.
