The dinosaurs in the movies were treated better than those in the novels, since it is implied here that the conditions in the park were not suitable for the animals. Indy knows this better than anyone, she too has been locked in a compound as small as Rexy's in the novels, and even if they have killed animals, the ones in the novels are outright malice. Something happened in the development of these animals, they are not hybrids and yet they have enormous contempt for everything that moves, as if they were the orcas of the sea world. It is one thing, like raptors, just to immobilize the prey and go for the neck, a VERY different thing to cut it open and drag it through the forest, still alive.
I think all dinos both in movie and novel are hybrids they had to fill up the dna of every dino with the dna of other animals bc the dino's dna was incomplete
@@infamous-drive6299 But the movies made it seem like they were majestic creatures brought back to life the Novels made them into monsters that were pure evil the ones in the Novels weren't dinosaurs they were abominations created with the base genome of some of the most dangerous creatures to walk the planet I mean Rexy in the Novels was persistent she would stop at nothing even if she had to swim she also threw a car with nothing but her jaws

what i find funny is if nedry had been a bit smarter and had a gun he wouldnt have died trespasser shows you can kill even a T-rex with enough firepower and anne killed several dilophosaurs as well as tribes of raptors and even albertosaurs, and maybe even a T Rex or 2[if your smart and lucky], and even though its considered noncanon to me its always going to be a prime example of what a human with too much time on their hands and WAY too much fire power can do to these dinos.
dinos aren't invincible they are just lucky and the humans that they have gone up against are really really dumb. even if a trex entered a average town they would be shot to death [let alone san diego, where crime is so high you basically HAVE to own a gun.]
