Batch, Fed-Batch and Continuous fermentation

Fermentation describe any process for the production of product by the mass culture of microorganisms. Fermentation may be carried out as batch, continuous or fed-batch processes. The process, kinetics and applications of batch, continuous or fed-batch fermentations are discussed.
