Good job fellas. Glad you’re using NHL 3.5. Try the ArborTech tool for raking out. It’s recommended for use on historic buildings as less likely to damage bricks. Quicker too. You can hire one from Travis Perkins. It’s a great bit of kit. It’s the allsaw with mortar blades.

With a mountain. If you get a helicopter to the top the mountain hasn’t shaped you, the view is just a view.
If you walk up the mountain you will feel it, the highs and the lows, the cold, the heat, the sweat, the pain and when you get to the top the view takes on a new breathtaking meaning and dimension. That job was sent for you🙌

If cavity-wall insulation is to be used , it can ONLY be installed from the VERY START of construction of the cavity-walls and there SHOULD be a LARGE air space gap in-between the face of the insulation and the OUTER WALL inside the cavity ; this includes an air space gap in between the face of the insulation and the cavity-wall-tie drip point which is in the centre of the cavity.
Ask N.V.Q. BRICKWORK teachers for PROOF of this !
