@@paulom5986 lasted about a 3-4 months for me playing outdoor, the traction is really good for indoor but outdoor it's super easy to wear it out

We have been blown away by the 4 axial Flywire. Nice jobs Nike!
I've played around 10 games in these, and I think these are the best Nike bball shoe to date. Almost flawless. Completely comfortable on first wear too. My only gripe would be that they run hot and there's no good loops to help you hold your sweaty shoes.

Relating to the convo after, many reasons I will get Nike shoes over most brands cuz it is one of the few if I get a size 12...99% of the time it fits me great even ordering straight from online.

@@JRtheBoy its the best shoe that i ever got in terms of impact protection/cushion and yet you dont feel too high to the ground. My only complaint is that they dont breath so well and i got them TTS shud have gone half a size bigger

Just got my pair for 70 dollars at a Nike outlet. As a sneakerhead with a lot of the more expensive / exclusive / less performance based items, it's nice to have a pair of both the J 34s and kd 12s. I will say that with the insole out, these feel insane. Not necessarily better, but still worth trying.

Once again based off your advice, I found a perfect hooping shoe! The other I copped due to your reviews was the Kobe Protro 1. Always on point! I never listen to other performance reviews because they just can't beat your research, detail and how you know the history and composition of shoes. The team USA pic of him in the locker room with his shoes off, I thought it was a photoshop for the longest time. I actually bought the pg and the KD at the same time and my experience was the exact opposite. The pg felt fine and the kd felt tight asf, still bought both though

Bought this shoes like 2 weeks ago. I gotta say they are one of the most comfortable basketball shoes i have tried. They are an all around great buy. i got them for like 79 dollars which to me is a steal. If you need basketball shoes definitely try these. They might just do it for you.

Dude!! I absolutely love the KD 12s! So glad they fit me true to see too...which was surprising since the 9, 9.5 and 10 were all long. I worked the KD 9 launch party back in the day and got to meet him and Leo Chang.....long ass size 18 feet! LOL!!! Side note: TEAM ZOOM AIR FOR LIFE!!!!!

I think the shape of these is much better than previous models. And they are easy to get into. Smooth ride and great fit. 11's were trash I had a pair for a month and sold them.

@@paulom5986 3 years later and they still feel fine but I play strictly indoor with them (on hardwood) and I also rotate my collection. I hadn't played in them for about a year until recently and the traction was still great.
These things are pretty much sold out where I live, I copped the 90s kid kd12 and I friggin love it, I rotate between that and my LeBron 16s.

That's some real talk and can't agree more on signatures should ideally be ~$150 max. The base techs, design and manufacturing vectors are there already that there's no reasonable and justifiable motive to do incremental price increases (other than pure $$$ grab that is).
This should extend to retros as well since majority of dev and marketing costs have already been amortized over the life of the original as well as each incremental retro runs they've had.
Man the PG3 is narrow, I've always felt like a narrow footer and they're tight on me

I bought one pair of KD12 (black& cement) a year ago after watching your video. Today I bought 2nd pair (red) after watching your KD13 review. KD 12 is one of the most comfortable basketball I have ever owned. I have narrow feet, it moulded my feet well. I also wear them even when not play ball.

Just do you man, people care too damn much about what others think. These shoes are comfy af, I throw them on all the time to run errands, they fit so snug but comfortably I barely even tie them up. Then they are even better when hooping. Super light weight and that zoom is so plush, they really give my old ass knees some nice bounce at almost 35.

Pro tip: I took the insole heel zoom bags out of an old pair of Dunk SBs and stuck them under the insoles of these. Game changer.

@@biggarah11 Nike Dunk SBs have heel Zoom units lightly glued to the bottoms of the insoles - not encased in the midsole. It's super easy to pull out the Zoom unit. Once removed, simply place under the insole of KD 12. Glue could be used, but it's not necessary. The old SB Zoom unit sits between the insole and the Zoom strobel of the KD; giving you SB Zoom + KD strobel Zoom + KD double-stack heel Zoom (in midsole) - without noticeably altering the fit of the shoe.

I actually like the variance within the model, as a wide footer I can get into those different lines on the years they are a little wider. One year the KD is too narrow, so I go with a Harden, next year the harden is too narrow so I look at LeBron's. Personally I like being ABLE to get into these lines because they do have years when they run wide and loose. Just food for thought.
That’s great for you, but the thought on consistency still stands. The only reason to be brand loyal is because you’ll know what you’re getting - or should know. The variance is great for some and not for others.
