Hey shrimp time it's great to see your videos again I've been taking a break from RUclips videos for a while and I'm back and it's so enjoyable to see your videos are still going strong! You're so informative with your videos thank you so much for taking the time!
I also use special blend and thera p.. man that stuff is stinky, but works really well so far. I dont do slow wc because breeder said he doesnt do slow, but i got some death last wc so maybe i go back to slow wc. I change about 20% water once a week.
@@ShrimpTimeInt no, they dont go under watersurface after wc. The deaths happened about 12 hours after. Maybe ph swings, i use thin soil and mattenfilters. I heared with ugf box you can make wc faster as the ugf buffers ph faster. Maybe i go back to ugf box after next reset to test.
It's a tricky question. All depends on Your tap water parameters. You need to check them in order to know if You can use tap water. Some of my Friends around the world have very soft tap water and they need even to add some salts to the water. So it depends :)

Observe the shrimps if they go after wc under the water surface and stay there. If they do there's something wrong with the WC

Hey have you ever try making them to adapted to neo water?
thanks for the video :D
You are welcome
How many times and what is the percentage of water change for neos ?
2 times a month about 20%
If the value of the water is 185tds how can I get the value back to 165 tds? how much should I salt the fresh water?

can i use tap water to do the water changes?
For Caridina Shrimp you need to use RO Water. Then it is remineralized according to which shrimp you have.
