I dont know have u worked for flipkart or not, but flipkart is bullshit about their employees,, now one knows whats inside this type of fulfillment goes on.. I have worked there as team leader and i had fought for those pickers and putters,, as flipkart and their contractors not paying them agreed salary, no agreed overtimes,,, workers salary gets deducted and they are not providing any reasons to them for deductions. Flipkart and there upper management thinks those pickers and putters are not human those are just bulls.. So they don't get tired after running to put and pick material in 60,000 square ft's area which is devided in 4 floors for 9-11 hrs shift... Without fixed lunch / dinner time during sale seasons.. Those fullfilment centers reaching very high temperatures during day time its very hard to sit in those inventory area and in such conditions putters and pickers keep running whole day by sweating from head to foot... I fought for them and when i left that job because of lots of politics and torture to me,, everyone saw that and on my last day many of my team members cried including me
Either Amazon, Flipkart, Decathlon or any other company with ware Houses, Always control ur indoor Temperatures to be less than 28 celcius. Thats a good Temperature to work with productivity. All big malls.Giant warehouses should have laws to maintain temperatures & safety measures compulsory.
Actually it will make pollution and not cost effective. India doesn't have any kind of recycling management system in any of the major cities. And Indian people has less clue about waste management or recycling. 😣

The quality check of products is still doubtful, I placed an order for Redmi series phone in September and the phones package was tampered and the phone had grease like stuff near the speaker grill. I complained to Customer care and they made me wait for 15 days with no resolution. Finally I ended up with a Used phone although I paid for a new one. They won't even let me post my review.
Hundreds of thousands of orders are dealt with from each warehouse everyday. A few errors do definitely occur. But customer care executives are usually helpful.

The important questions are 1. How many KM normally a picker walks in a day 2. How many picking he has to do in an hour to continue in this job 3. What the break time and how it's divided in 8 hour shift 4. Why they are not wearing any safety shoes.

Do not order anything to Flipkart in India. They just do not deliver items and cancels them after more than a month. They could not deliver Sanitizer, Mask and hand gloves etc which are COVID related items. There website was showing that item has reached x y z places and shipped. After that silence and cancelling and refunding. Same items are now available in Flipkart and they are offering to customers. Shear inconvenience and suffering due to their failure. They could have send an email saying due to lockdown the delivery will be delayed.
Ya because Flipkart uses people to move around the warehouse and pick up stuff, so they need more cheaper boxes. Amazon owns a robot company, which brings pallets to the picker. So several items can be put into 1 box, so they can afford better boxes.

So Flipkart generally puts less items per box, so each box takes less weight, but they need more boxes, so they use cheaper boxes

That is why i think Amazon treats it's Customer like king . So i never mind to pay few more for Amazon's safe delivery and so i like personally Jeff Bezos.
