As far as inconsistent spacebars go. I have noticed when cherry stabs are paired with cherry switches, it has a higher chance of inconsistency. I have talked to a couple of cherry lover keeb builders who tend to agree with this finding. Idk if it has to do with the clipping of the stab and how flush it has to be or not. But something to take note of I guess. Still sounds amazing.
The feet are slightly raised on the 4 corners to minimize the thuddiness, I was very vocal about the initial feet design where it was just standard height along with other people on Aiglatson's discord, big props to Mr. Aiglatson for looking into it and agreeing with most of us and designing a workaround without sacrificing the intended design.

As much as I love the studio, the sound inconsistency on the spacebar is a big no for me when you are paying a lot for it. I love the design and all would be great if you could fix the sound
Hello, if you watch it towards the end, changing the switch did fix the problem. This proves that the issue wasn’t with the keyboard itself. The plate is symmetrical, so the sound should be consistent across the spacebar.
@@AiglatsonStudio Thanks for the reply, I watched that, but if I'm paying 600 for it, I’d really like to be able to use any switch with it and don't have to worry about sound. Still, I love all your other projects just this one is not for me
@@potynawowasanhee8073 Thank you, that means a lot. I understand your point, but I want to clarify that I'm quite confident the inconsistency isn’t due to the board itself. Firstly, I think it makes the keyboard unique. Secondly, the people with the budget to buy high end keyboard will definately already have a lot of other board so it does make sense to add aethestic value when displacing the keyboard.

Hello, I recommend watching until the end, as you’ll see that changing the switch resolved the issue. This proves the issue wasn’t with the keyboard itself. Since the plate is symmetrical, so the sound should be consistent across the spacebar. Based on both my personal unit and Markerchun's build, the spacebar is quite consistent. I have absolutely nothing against your comment and am always open to feedback, but as I’ve put a lot of effort into this project, I hope to avoid any misunderstandings for potential customers.
Hello! I did mention a lot of the stuff I liked about the design, I think even more on the longer version of the VoD but there was still quite a bit of that here in the shortened version. If you are more so meaning why does it cost the amount that it does, I will definitely be sure to make more clear cut sections in the future for the "why" in case it gets lost in these shorter vids.
@@alexotos hi alex why are u replying about someone comparing constance with a leobog. I mean, let alone answering about inconsistency which is clearly in the video, he comparing it to a leobog is already unreasonable. and I think that's no longer just a negative comment
I was eyeing this one, but the change they did to the feet completely undermines the original design. I know there's a reason behind it, but still doesn't sit right with me when you buy a $450 board with a last minute fix because people complained about thudding(don't you have any deskmats?!). For that price I would've expected them to redesign the feet alltogether, especially since the thudding complaints were voiced during IC phase iirc.
We did talk with aiglatson over this change which we also discussed in gtmget Build stream where he went into deeper explanation and comparison why the feet got revised and tested how it affected the sound. I think the change was the right choice because when we tested it on gtmget stream it improved in sound a lot. Aiglatson wanted the design to remain like this with the long feet, so this was a solution which does not affect aesthetics and sound so perfect, but that is all subjective.
Nice board but I'm so over "clean and minimal" boring keyboards. They start to all look the same. Bunch of otd clones. Let's get some interesting and daring designs going
@alexotos I'm talking more about the aesthetic design than form factor. There's definitely a lot of cool designs out there, but most of them are minimal and are boring to look at because they all look the same.
