One thing that I don’t see a lot of people commenting on is this: the people who have the most lines are the people who have the most stage stamina. Stray Kids makes a point of always singing live, and some members find themselves going too hard on stage and struggling to sing. Han, Chan, Changbin, and Seungmin are the most stable live singers.

Don't let these lists start unnecessary drama..certain memebers have VERY BIG impacts even if they have fewer lines...Remember, Han raps and sings ALOT which is a hard job for his voice..and its more pressure to deliver but he delivers everytime...I.N has the most unique and amazing voice and since oddinary he has grown in confidence so he's very memorable when there's melodic moments..Felix might have the least lines but he has the greatest impact on song..No one has a voice like he does especiallyon songs..Hyunjin has grown so much in rapping, singing and he even writes songs....Lee Know has a powerful voice and a beautiful falsetto...im proud of him!!! I came to Skz when I heard Felix’s voice. But then I recognized all the other guys. Now I love and respect all these guys. Each of them is unique and inimitable.
It’s not “unnecessary drama” to stand up for other members. You are not supporting OT8 if you are turning a blind eye to unfairness just because you stan han. The other members deserve to show their talents too and have them respected. Han is very talented, but they all are and they can all rap and sing so there is no reason why the distribution can’t be more fair
Felix staying at the bottom.... And yet, he's probably caught more "new" Stays than any other. There's something so warm and unique about his low voice. It hits the spot just right. He doesn't have as many lines, but they're always the chef's kiss! Yes, (OF COURSE) he's my bias! 😆
I'm surprised (cuz I never really paid attention to line distributions) but also not surprised that Han is first since he's the ace of SKZ. A little sad that Felix is last, but we all know he doesn't need that many lines since he always stands out with the most memorable parts.
Han's placement is understandable since he's been a part of both the rap line and vocal line since predebut's Hellivator. Adding to that he's a gifted song writer able to put out several solo songs... Chan probably surprised people by having more lines than Seungmin but that's understandable too because Chan lines tend to offer the support and foundation for many of the songs. When you get pass the verses and choruses, Chan sings a lot during pre-choruses, bridges and song endings... Hyunjin edges out Lee Know in all songs because since he came back from hiatus 3RACHA has made an effort to use him for both singing and rapping. Like how he owned Oddinary with so many parts in songs like Maniac, Freeze and Venom. I've said this before; it's like their hands were tied during the hiatus but afterwards 3RACHA wanted to prove to the company that all 8 members are essential to SKZ; and they absolutely are, regardless of who has more lines... I wonder if people who aren't Lee Knowers are surprised that he was almost in 5th place in all songs and was 5th in OT8 songs. Lee Know sings a lot more than some people realize. A lot of times during music videos Lee Know will be the one singing when the camera is focused on some other action. Like the drone shot playing at the end of "LALALALA" mv. I have even seen reactors overlook him, like one saying he only had one line in the Sound when he had already sung a line, on camera... All eight ate great but I'm going to stop here since this comment got longer than I intended but I saw so many people complaining about their biases not getting more lines. I think all the members are happy where they are. Edit: I will add Felix started getting more lines as he became more comfortable with his singing. It shows more and more with each album.
Even in the OT8 only graph, han had considerably more lines. It doesn’t matter that he can rap and sing, all the members can and they all deserve to show their talents. We all love han but we shouldn’t let that blind us to the fact that the line distribution should and could be more fair.
@@xxxmochibaby , I has nothing to do with being fair. They are professionals and everyone has their own skills that are essential to the Stray Kids sound. As for Han it's not just that Han can sing and rap because they all can, but he does at a level where he is considered part of both the vocal and rap lines. It's like they still have 9 members even though Woojin left. Yes Seungmin had to step up when Woojin left but so did Han. He was already doing double duty from the very beginning but had to contribute more once they were down a member. There are two things that impact the line distribution in SKZ's discography. The first is they are a rap heavy group and still to this day the amount of rap edges out the amount of vocals in their music. The other thing that impacts the distribution is that Lee Know, I.N, Hyunjin and Felix didn't sing a lot in those first albums. They all sing more now as they have improved and grown in confidence but you can't go back and change their discography to make things fair. Maybe in a few years things may look more even but there will always be those early years when Chan, Han and Changbin carried more of the load. 3RACHA are professionals and their goal is to place the members were they fit best. I think they work very hard to include everyone. We all saw them perform at the Global Citizens Festival in New York without the other members and they did TOPLINE without any problems. It's because they do the guide for all the songs the 3 of them have written together. When it comes time to record their focus is not on how much they will sing. It's on who fits best where and if that means Han does 2/8 of a song instead of 1/8 then that is what was needed. I have never heard a SKZ song and thought "they had A song but they should have had B sing it". I trust them to make the right decisions.
@@rugr82day you are clearly not listening hard enough then because there are PLENTY Of songs where the line distribution is poorly skewed and lines are given to certain members that could have easily been covered by other members. Of course they all have their own strengths but there are plenty of instances where secondary lines (meaning not main vocal points) are assigned unfairly and arbitrarily. Just because 3racha are professionals doesn’t mean they are incapable of making mistakes or having biases or conflicts of interest. It doesn’t mean that we as listeners aren’t able to notice these things and call them out.
Debatable. He gets memorable lines for his monotone voice for-sure, but I’d say Han/Changbin’s rapping and Seungmin’s vocalisation’s bring the most to the groups songs more than anything else.

It's pretty clear they were referring to the fact that Felix's lines are typically the most memorable / viral moments of each comeback, the ones that make the biggest impact, not the ones that are the most technically skillful. In terms of ability then yeah han/changbin/seungmin are the best at rap/vocals but thats not what they were talking about.
I think because of his deep voice and low notes which make a grand impact on their songs they give him lesser parts to make his parts "points" of the songs which will help the songs go famous/viral and it's easier for him to stand out but the others get more part to seem like they too have important part/contribution to the song and not like lee know in God's menu (that was major trauma) also felix even though not many a time most but gets pretty good amount of lines in the b-sides also not to mention him getting more choruses and dance breaks and after he is a part of the performance unit so his ig their focus always is to promote what each unit is considered as their main points... it is just so the group seems balanced out also being 1st in 13 songsx line distribution is a lot for him as a main dancer where in fact a core member of vocal unit has most lines in only 8 songs!! And it is pretty obvious that lines (vocal heavy) will go to more capable members !!!
They give him the lines in specific moments that create a lot of contrast and also give him less lines beacuse it wouldn't hit the same way if he does it through the whole song. He is like the special element, so it would't be special if they overuse it

That’s how I read it and responded to with that in mind. A line here and there isn’t as important as the rap and vocals delivered by the members I mentioned in terms of the strength of their songs construction. After all they make up far more of their songs composition than Felix does. Hope that makes sense. (I also didn’t say anything negative about Felix’s voice, so I’m not sure what you’re talking about.)
Han is probably one of a few idols that are truly adored by having the most lines in their groups. That just tells how amazing he is an how much he deserved them👏

Here’s what I think as a K-pop fan who’s been around since 2011 and stanned groups from 1st - 4th gen. I’ve seen the same arguments playing out in the comment section year after year, group after group. I think when looking at line distribution, fans forget to take into account the positions of the group. It should come as absolutely no surprise that Hyunjin, Lee Know, I.N and Felix have the least lines. Consider the case of Danceracha, they’re often times center and dancing the hardest. They have the weakest vocals because they’re concentrating on keeping the dances powerful and eye catching. They’re also often given the ‘killing part’ of the song, which is the part made to garner attention and new fans. Of course they’ll want someone like Felix or Hyunjin to sing it. Lee know is useful for the higher register ‘killing parts’ since those notes are easier for him to hit and he’s great at intense expressions. It’s not that 3racha considers them incapable, it’s the opposite, 3racha is considering the performance as a whole and what is best for the team as a whole. In I.N’s case, for the first few years it makes sense not to give him so many lines, he’s the maknae. He has a lovely voice but it took some time for him to grow into it, like with all maknaes. Giving him less lines allows him to grow without so much pressure on him, this is how nearly all K-pop groups do things so it’s no surprise there. I’m sure if you were to only consider their latest music, you’d find that he’s getting more lines and that those lines were made to show off his hard work. This is the reason why solos exist, to give fans their favorite member singing/rapping an entire song by themselves, all talented groups do it eventually (i.e Big Bang, Mamamoo, Exo, BTS, etc..) , to varying success and it will be no different for Skz but we have to be patient. They want to bring their best to the table, let’s let them decide the best time to show off their talents. There’s no need to be jealous or blame the members who have more lines, I’ve seen some comments alluding to members of 3racha being greedy for lines, you don’t know the discussions that go on behind the scenes. A lot of thinking goes into making the best version of a song and we want them at their best when promoting, right?

If you notice, as I.N and LK improved their live vocals over the years, their line distributions became higher and higher - their hard work is paying off, and it also means that Han has an easier time because less pressure is on his back to carry up to 30% of performances by himself. I.N is doing very, very well. Best boy I.N!
Felix barely leaving that bottom place 🥲 He actually has a quite versatile voice, with his deep and impacting voice, while also being able to sing in a lighter tone (which I absolutely adore), it's a shame there are some songs they barely utilize his voice. But it got better in recent years. In more recent albums you can see he get a few 1st places, but the first few albums he was nearly always on bottom 3 😔 I know his parts have a great impact even when they're short. But sometimes I just wanna hear his voice more 😭like Miroh is such a bop that I love, but I am slightly bitter that he just sings the intro and then he just completely clocks out for the rest of them
hes definitely becoming more comfortable with singing, which can especially be seen in rockstar before his voice was mainly used for the hooks and 'killing parts', but now he's singing/rapping the other main parts too
@@arti_0325I completely understand but also even when he doesn’t have many lines the lines he has are the most famous because of his iconic voice, in god’s menu his parts are by far the most famous and he is arguably the most famous member and has a lot to bring to the table. I do wish that some songs are more equal in terms of lines but also it will never be perfect and different songs needs different sounds so Felix for example might do really well for the sound of one song and another his voice doesn’t quite sound right for the vibe whereas seungmin might be the opposite. Again I understand where you are coming from but also I get why the distribution is what it is
its because at their debut day felix was not very fluent with his korean.. and his vocal at that time still improving year by year so thats why only recently he became more confident with his singing..
I'm actually surprised he is so low on the list. I didn't notice such a big discrepancy which must go to show his voice is impactful in SKZ songs. That said, I've noticed he seems a lot more confident recently and I'm curious what the line distribution will look like over the next few albums.
lol the skew that replay has on this is so funny to watch. Honestly even with han's 4(?) solo songs to most everyone else 1, the end percentages are still impressively even for their discography, I'm always so impressed by it
They can’t all have the same number of lines. It’s difficult and it surely wouldn’t fit. I think Han has so much because of his stable rap and vocal, he can do everything. And the performance is not just singing. It’s just raw statistics here, but my feeling is that everyone gets the time to shine in the songs.

Despite being the most attention-garnering member, I've always thought Felix had very little lines. He usually has a couple little lines and some adlibs at best, but the few times he's had some actual good sized bars and some fast rapping were my favorite parts of his. I know a lot of it has to do with he himself not wanting a ton of lines since he's more dance-focused, but I still wish he did. Him and Lee Know both!
Well I understand that lines distribution can't be fair to all the members but what bothers me the most is the inequality of screentime for each member that's why I'm curious about how much screentime I.N and Lee know have in all of their Mvs especially title tracks.
some people see this as unfair because of the large difference but in rerecording the members at the top 4 were able to take on those lines easier, then in more recent times the bottom 4 are getting more lines as they become confident in their skills and develop their style. All 8 of them bring impact in different ways.
Felix making the most of what is entrusted to him, working hard and always slaying and the reason why I came to know about Straykids to begin with. What a great team player.
This gives the insight of how Felix is indeed stray kids secret weapon. That exact moment he became the stan attractor because of his part on "God's Menu", it was the proof. Still I hope we get to see more of his pure singing voice, as well as Lee Know and I.N. In my personal view, I adore I.N.'s voice so much and can't help but want another solo song of his, showing more of his different sides.
It's balanced if we see it as one unit instead of individually. Stray Kids has strong balance of vocal team and dancers. That's why their songs and MVs are always good!
He has a really great voice and is really stable live! I wish he'd sing more! Unfortunately, he doesn't see himself as a good singer ☹️ so he's told 3RACHA he doesn't wanna sing much.

People here need to understand that Lee know, Felix and Hyunjin are part of danceracha which requires them to PERFORM and DANCE. Them getting the least amount of lines is understandable because they can't be singing and dancing at the same time. And it does require energy. Seungmin and I.N are vocalist them not getting lines would be stupid and 3racha are the foundation to the songs itself. Han getting the most amount of lines is SO RIGHT, my man raps AND sings. As a conclusion stop hating on them for not giving danceracha more lines as they do best on stage with their DANCE and we love that. Stop comparing your Favs and understand the mechanism of how a GROUP works.

Remember guys, just because you see some members getting more lines than the others doesn't mean that they don't get to shine. Felix may be the king of 8th place but his voice is soo low and unique that I would say it's literally the main key of attracting new fans to them. :) Not to mention there's also moments when members get to be in the center of a dance a lot more than they sing which would most likely be the dance line (Minho, Felix, Hyunjin) so remember despite them not having as many lines they still get to shine in specific areas versus the other members. Hyunjin, Felix, and Minho may not get as many lines but they definitely shine when it comes to being in the center during intense choreo moments. Also it may seem like I.N doesn't get recognized as much but tbh he's come an extremly long way since their debut, and I'm proud to see how much he has grown ever since then. I've recently heard a comparison from when they recently debuted to a newer song and I definitely hear HUGE changes. His voice has certainly gotten a lot deeper, he's been growing, so his voice has been maturing a lot. It also feels like he's gotten a lot more confidence than before. Not to mention he's been practicing like crazy with the dancers to perfect his dancing a lot more as well. I saw him dancing his heart out in a video with one of the members and I just couldn't believe it was him. I had to rewind it like 3 times because I was like, "holy crap!!! He has improved A HUGE AMOUNT". I almost couldn't even believe it was him dancing like that. I'm like, " okay, that dude definitely looks like I.N but how can I for sure be certain it is him?" xD I'm seriously proud of how all of them have improved ever since debut. Especially seeing them ever since before debut all the way to how they are now, and just physically getting to experience their growth ever since then. I'm just, in shock.
That’s what you’d think considering he is the person most people think of when they are told to think of a stray kids member on the spot, but because of the fact that he and Lee Know were seen as weak links right before debut, they fell behind in terms of lyric amounts since they were trying to make themselves look better by giving the weaker members less lines. Lee Know eventually made up for that loss, but I guess Felix never did. Felix’s voice also has such an impact that I can also seeing them giving him less lines to make the liens he does have 10 times more impactful.

That's like saying Haewon shouldnt be a main vocalist in Nmixx (Haewon is obviously more skilled than I.N but u get the point, she's very close to Lily the main vocalist while I.N is very close to Han) He's definitely a lead vocalist

I would be interested in seeing who gets the most rap lines and who gets the most vocal lines. Like how the rap vs vocals are distributed among the group because most of them do both to some degree.

Although the result might not be all that different, but many stays around the world on different platforms are using this to provoke dramas on line distributions for their group songs.. I saw snippet of this everywhere and I think people just pass the information forward without knowing that this includes everything including members solo tracks, not just their group songs 😢 love&peace!
Everyone in the comments talking about how members who get plenty of lines should get more, while I'm here wishing that Bang Chan would be more fair and give himself more lines. His vocals are my favorite and he only has 2 solo songs. I wish he would be more confident and gave himself some of the spotlight too. Hyunjin also has a very sweet voice that he doesn't use much, while I love his rapping, I wish his honey vocals were used more in Stray Kids songs.

This is pretty reasonable ngl. 1. Han is an all rounder and part of 3 racha thats why he got the most line. 2. The dance line get less line because they shine in stage and were given a lot of center position. Also less line so they won't get tired when performing live. 3. I.N is the only one questionable because he's the lead vocalist tho. But he probably ok with it tho.
Could you perhaps upload a version of the line graph at the end that rather than showing their placement in comparison to the other members, shows their actual second amount per song? I feel that they have become more evenly distributed over the years and that the stigmatism that occurred in earlier songs is inaccurate as of now.

PLEASE make a graph showing the time distribution instead of lines because rappers for example say their lines very fast so even though they may have more lines it only equals a small portion of the song while members like Felix almost always say their lines slowly for impact so even if he has less it still takes up more time in the song. I’d be interested to see that graph
I wish they hadn't included the solo stuff from SKZ replays and records; Han has so many solos that all these solos or even duos sometimes kind of change the whole thing. I would prefer to see a Stray Kids group songs line distribution. Then we would have seen some 'improvement' if I may say so. they've always been quite OK in line distribution but it's been even better over the past couple of years. There used to be a huge differenec between Han (usually first) and Felix (usually last), but the gap had diminished. With that video it's there again but it doesn't represent the actual distribution among the group.

(Not including sub units songs they all sing in one ie muddy waters, red lights, wow, etc). But the Solis such as 'I got it' etc, because then it gives one or several members more material and we can't really compare the overall band line distribution.

It should've stopped after IN's "HUG Me as they all had one new song, so it was OKAY. But they put old solo or units (Zone) or collabs (Drive, Up all night, Piece of a puzzle, Because, Maknae on top) and of course solos (I hate to admit, Streetlight, Little Star and of course the five Han's songs (wish you back, alien, happy, I got it, Close). Maybe there is "I see" too, I'm not sure. But I didn't dream the others. So this is what I was talking about, I wish these songs wouldn't be in it.

i am sorry but i had to say. Skz have one of the most fair line distributions and i totally agree that han deserves the first place. But i never realised why my bias always gets the least lines(I.N) and literally no one talks about it. I’ve noticed people crib about danceracha getting less lines especially lee know and felix. I love them but srsly I.N here being in the vocal line along with seungmin is getting such less lines and u guys just ignore it. I understand bout him getting less lines in the old albums but till now he’s not gotten the lines he deserves even though he has improved so much. I know u guys will say i’m only saying this cause he’s my bias but i am just stating the truth. I love 3racha but i think they should give more lines to I.N. I agree that I.N has grown by leaps and bounds but we don't know and may never know why he still doesn't get more lines. Ppl argue that Felix isn't given enough either but Felix has made it clear that he does not like singing much because he doesn't think he's a good singer. I disagree; he's a good, stable, on pitch singer. Although I.N is a vocalist, it may be that he feels insecure even with as far as he's come and doesn't want to bite off more than (he thinks) he can chew. 3RACHA have said that although they write with ppl in my mind, the way a song becomes a final product is not always entirely up to them. It could even be a case where it's JYPE that doesn't want I.N to have more lines. 🤷♀️😕
I'd be very curious to see a screentime distribution as well. I started playing Skz for my mom and now she follows Skz as well, but for some reason she's become convinced, no matter what I tell her, that Han is being pushed aside and he doesnt get enough screentime or good lines and that the group only seems to care about what he can do and not him as a person. I keep showing her evidence to the contrary, but she's convinced. Even in the last video, Lalalala, she's declared that everyone has amazing closeup shots and poor Han has a horrible showing, and why is he tied up...? She's convinced that Han is mistreated and I'm just sitting there wondering how we can watch the exact same videos and see such different things. I have no idea how to convince her that she's being ridiculous.
i think han probably has the top 3 highest screen time he is center in the dances as much as danceracha is, meaning he has lots of main choreo parts and loads of choruses so has lots of parts in their mvs

One thing that I don’t see a lot of people commenting on is this: the people who have the most lines are the people who have the most stage stamina. Stray Kids makes a point of always singing live, and some members find themselves going too hard on stage and struggling to sing. Han, Chan, Changbin, and Seungmin are the most stable live singers.

I came to Skz when I heard Felix’s voice. But then I recognized all the other guys. Now I love and respect all these guys. Each of them is unique and inimitable.
It’s not “unnecessary drama” to stand up for other members. You are not supporting OT8 if you are turning a blind eye to unfairness just because you stan han. The other members deserve to show their talents too and have them respected. Felix’s voice is used really well, almost like a secret weapon. It’s brilliant
I'm surprised (cuz I never really paid attention to line distributions) but also not surprised that Han is first since he's the ace of SKZ. A little sad that Felix is last, but we all know he doesn't need that many lines since he always stands out with the most memorable parts.
Han's placement is understandable since he's been a part of both the rap line and vocal line since predebut's Hellivator. Adding to that he's a gifted song writer able to put out several solo songs...
Chan probably surprised people by having more lines than Seungmin but that's understandable too because Chan lines tend to offer the support and foundation for many of the songs. When you get pass the verses and choruses, Chan sings a lot during pre-choruses, bridges and song endings...
Hyunjin edges out Lee Know in all songs because since he came back from hiatus 3RACHA has made an effort to use him for both singing and rapping. Like how he owned Oddinary with so many parts in songs like Maniac, Freeze and Venom. I've said this before; it's like their hands were tied during the hiatus but afterwards 3RACHA wanted to prove to the company that all 8 members are essential to SKZ; and they absolutely are, regardless of who has more lines...
I wonder if people who aren't Lee Knowers are surprised that he was almost in 5th place in all songs and was 5th in OT8 songs. Lee Know sings a lot more than some people realize. A lot of times during music videos Lee Know will be the one singing when the camera is focused on some other action. Like the drone shot playing at the end of "LALALALA" mv. I have even seen reactors overlook him, like one saying he only had one line in the Sound when he had already sung a line, on camera...
All eight ate great but I'm going to stop here since this comment got longer than I intended but I saw so many people complaining about their biases not getting more lines. I think all the members are happy where they are.
Edit: I will add Felix started getting more lines as he became more comfortable with his singing. It shows more and more with each album.

Even in the OT8 only graph, han had considerably more lines. It doesn’t matter that he can rap and sing, all the members can and they all deserve to show their talents. We all love han but we shouldn’t let that blind us to the fact that the line distribution should and could be more fair.

As for Han it's not just that Han can sing and rap because they all can, but he does at a level where he is considered part of both the vocal and rap lines. It's like they still have 9 members even though Woojin left. Yes Seungmin had to step up when Woojin left but so did Han. He was already doing double duty from the very beginning but had to contribute more once they were down a member.
There are two things that impact the line distribution in SKZ's discography. The first is they are a rap heavy group and still to this day the amount of rap edges out the amount of vocals in their music. The other thing that impacts the distribution is that Lee Know, I.N, Hyunjin and Felix didn't sing a lot in those first albums. They all sing more now as they have improved and grown in confidence but you can't go back and change their discography to make things fair. Maybe in a few years things may look more even but there will always be those early years when Chan, Han and Changbin carried more of the load.
3RACHA are professionals and their goal is to place the members were they fit best. I think they work very hard to include everyone. We all saw them perform at the Global Citizens Festival in New York without the other members and they did TOPLINE without any problems. It's because they do the guide for all the songs the 3 of them have written together. When it comes time to record their focus is not on how much they will sing. It's on who fits best where and if that means Han does 2/8 of a song instead of 1/8 then that is what was needed.
I have never heard a SKZ song and thought "they had A song but they should have had B sing it". I trust them to make the right decisions.

Of course they all have their own strengths but there are plenty of instances where secondary lines (meaning not main vocal points) are assigned unfairly and arbitrarily. Just because 3racha are professionals doesn’t mean they are incapable of making mistakes or having biases or conflicts of interest. I think because of his deep voice and low notes which make a grand impact on their songs they give him lesser parts to make his parts "points" of the songs which will help the songs go famous/viral and it's easier for him to stand out but the others get more part to seem like they too have important part/contribution to the song and not like lee know in God's menu (that was major trauma) also felix even though not many a time most but gets pretty good amount of lines in the b-sides also not to mention him getting more choruses and dance breaks and after he is a part of the performance unit so his ig their focus always is to promote what each unit is considered as their main points... it is just so the group seems balanced out also being 1st in 13 songsx line distribution is a lot for him as a main dancer where in fact a core member of vocal unit has most lines in only 8 songs!! And it is pretty obvious that lines (vocal heavy) will go to more capable members !!!
They give him the lines in specific moments that create a lot of contrast and also give him less lines beacuse it wouldn't hit the same way if he does it through the whole song. He is like the special element, so it would't be special if they overuse it

That’s how I read it and responded to with that in mind. A line here and there isn’t as important as the rap and vocals delivered by the members I mentioned in terms of the strength of their songs construction. After all they make up far more of their songs composition than Felix does.

Here’s what I think as a K-pop fan who’s been around since 2011 and stanned groups from 1st - 4th gen. I’ve seen the same arguments playing out in the comment section year after year, group after group.
I think when looking at line distribution, fans forget to take into account the positions of the group. It should come as absolutely no surprise that Hyunjin, Lee Know, I.N and Felix have the least lines. Consider the case of Danceracha, they’re often times center and dancing the hardest. They have the weakest vocals because they’re concentrating on keeping the dances powerful and eye catching. They’re also often given the ‘killing part’ of the song, which is the part made to garner attention and new fans. Of course they’ll want someone like Felix or Hyunjin to sing it. Lee know is useful for the higher register ‘killing parts’ since those notes are easier for him to hit and he’s great at intense expressions. It’s not that 3racha considers them incapable, it’s the opposite, 3racha is considering the performance as a whole and what is best for the team as a whole.
In I.N’s case, for the first few years it makes sense not to give him so many lines, he’s the maknae. He has a lovely voice but it took some time for him to grow into it, like with all maknaes. Giving him less lines allows him to grow without so much pressure on him, this is how nearly all K-pop groups do things so it’s no surprise there. I’m sure if you were to only consider their latest music, you’d find that he’s getting more lines and that those lines were made to show off his hard work.
This is the reason why solos exist, to give fans their favorite member singing/rapping an entire song by themselves, all talented groups do it eventually (i.e Big Bang, Mamamoo, Exo, BTS, etc..) , to varying success and it will be no different for Skz but we have to be patient. They want to bring their best to the table, let’s let them decide the best time to show off their talents.
There’s no need to be jealous or blame the members who have more lines, I’ve seen some comments alluding to members of 3racha being greedy for lines, you don’t know the discussions that go on behind the scenes. A lot of thinking goes into making the best version of a song and we want them at their best when promoting, right?

Felix barely leaving that bottom place 🥲 He actually has a quite versatile voice, with his deep and impacting voice, while also being able to sing in a lighter tone (which I absolutely adore), it's a shame there are some songs they barely utilize his voice. But it got better in recent years. In more recent albums you can see he get a few 1st places, but the first few albums he was nearly always on bottom 3 😔

Despite being the most attention-garnering member, I've always thought Felix had very little lines. He usually has a couple little lines and some adlibs at best, but the few times he's had some actual good sized bars and some fast rapping were my favorite parts of his. I know a lot of it has to do with he himself not wanting a ton of lines since he's more dance-focused, but I still wish he did. Him and Lee Know both!

People here need to understand that Lee know, Felix and Hyunjin are part of danceracha which requires them to PERFORM and DANCE. Them getting the least amount of lines is understandable because they can't be singing and dancing at the same time. And it does require energy. Seungmin and I.N are vocalist them not getting lines would be stupid and 3racha are the foundation to the songs itself. Han getting the most amount of lines is SO RIGHT, my man raps AND sings. As a conclusion stop hating on them for not giving danceracha more lines as they do best on stage with their DANCE and we love that. Stop comparing your Favs and understand the mechanism of how a GROUP works.

Remember guys, just because you see some members getting more lines than the others doesn't mean that they don't get to shine. Felix may be the king of 8th place but his voice is soo low and unique that I would say it's literally the main key of attracting new fans to them. :) Not to mention there's also moments when members get to be in the center of a dance a lot more than they sing which would most likely be the dance line (Minho, Felix, Hyunjin) so remember despite them not having as many lines they still get to shine in specific areas versus the other members. Hyunjin, Felix, and Minho may not get as many lines but they definitely shine when it comes to being in the center during intense choreo moments. Also it may seem like I.N doesn't get recognized as much but tbh he's come an extremly long way since their debut, and I'm proud to see how much he has grown ever since then. I've recently heard a comparison from when they recently debuted to a newer song and I definitely hear HUGE changes. His voice has certainly gotten a lot deeper, he's been growing, so his voice has been maturing a lot. It also feels like he's gotten a lot more confidence than before. Not to mention he's been practicing like crazy with the dancers to perfect his dancing a lot more as well. I saw him dancing his heart out in a video with one of the members and I just couldn't believe it was him. I had to rewind it like 3 times because I was like, "holy crap!!! He has improved A HUGE AMOUNT". I almost couldn't even believe it was him dancing like that. I'm like, " okay, that dude definitely looks like I.N but how can I for sure be certain it is him?" xD I'm seriously proud of how all of them have improved ever since debut. Especially seeing them ever since before debut all the way to how they are now, and just physically getting to experience their growth ever since then. I'm just, in shock.

That’s what you’d think considering he is the person most people think of when they are told to think of a stray kids member on the spot, but because of the fact that he and Lee Know were seen as weak links right before debut, they fell behind in terms of lyric amounts since they were trying to make themselves look better by giving the weaker members less lines. Lee Know eventually made up for that loss, but I guess Felix never did. Felix’s voice also has such an impact that I can also seeing them giving him less lines to make the liens he does have 10 times more impactful.

I wouldn’t class I.N. as a Lead Vocalist, just Vocalist. Seungmin, Han and Bang Chan are the classic, Main and 2 Lead Vocal-trinity of the group.
@@Lewis-hl9qw I.N is the third best vocalist after Seungmin and Han and all of them are pretty close together. That's like saying Haewon shouldnt be a main vocalist in Nmixx
(Haewon is obviously more skilled than I.N but u get the point, she's very close to Lily the main vocalist while I.N is very close to Han)

I would be interested in seeing who gets the most rap lines and who gets the most vocal lines. Like how the rap vs vocals are distributed among the group because most of them do both to some degree.
Thank you for your hard work! Would you mind doing a version without the members’ solo & unit songs? Although the result might not be all that different, but many stays around the world on different platforms are using this to provoke dramas on line distributions for their group songs.. I saw snippet of this everywhere and I think people just pass the information forward without knowing that this includes everything including members solo tracks, not just their group songs 😢 love&peace!

Everyone in the comments talking about how members who get plenty of lines should get more, while I'm here wishing that Bang Chan would be more fair and give himself more lines. His vocals are my favorite and he only has 2 solo songs. I wish he would be more confident and gave himself some of the spotlight too. Hyunjin also has a very sweet voice that he doesn't use much, while I love his rapping, I wish his honey vocals were used more in Stray Kids songs.

This is pretty reasonable ngl.
1. Han is an all rounder and part of 3 racha thats why he got the most line.
2. The dance line get less line because they shine in stage and were given a lot of center position. Also less line so they won't get tired when performing live.
3. I.N is the only one questionable because he's the lead vocalist tho. But he probably ok with it tho.
Could you perhaps upload a version of the line graph at the end that rather than showing their placement in comparison to the other members, shows their actual second amount per song? I feel that they have become more evenly distributed over the years and that the stigmatism that occurred in earlier songs is inaccurate as of now.

PLEASE make a graph showing the time distribution instead of lines because rappers for example say their lines very fast so even though they may have more lines it only equals a small portion of the song while members like Felix almost always say their lines slowly for impact so even if he has less it still takes up more time in the song. I’d be interested to see that graph
I wish they hadn't included the solo stuff from SKZ replays and records; Han has so many solos that all these solos or even duos sometimes kind of change the whole thing. I would prefer to see a Stray Kids group songs line distribution. Then we would have seen some 'improvement' if I may say so. they've always been quite OK in line distribution but it's been even better over the past couple of years. There used to be a huge differenec between Han (usually first) and Felix (usually last), but the gap had diminished. With that video it's there again but it doesn't represent the actual distribution among the group.

@@aagupteMC yes, but I wish it didn't include the solo or duo stuff, so we'd only have the real ful band songs. (Not including sub units songs they all sing in one ie muddy waters, red lights, wow, etc). But the Solis such as 'I got it' etc, because then it gives one or several members more material and we can't really compare the overall band line distribution.
@@GaelleCathy I don’t think you understand the video or the above persons comment. They have a graph showing the distribution for JUST songs with the 8 memebers. Meaning no units and no solos. And han STILL has significantly more lines on that graph as well
@@xxxmochibaby Sorry but I did not dream all the solos or collabs grouped in the SKZ REPLAY being in that vid. I heard them and the lines from the members concerned were going on. It should've stopped after IN's "HUG Me as they all had one new song, so it was OKAY.
But they put old solo or units (Zone) or collabs (Drive, Up all night, Piece of a puzzle, Because, Maknae on top) and of course solos (I hate to admit, Streetlight, Little Star and of course the five Han's songs (wish you back, alien, happy, I got it, Close). Maybe there is "I see" too, I'm not sure. But I didn't dream the others. So this is what I was talking about, I wish these songs wouldn't be in it.

i am sorry but i had to say. Skz have one of the most fair line distributions and i totally agree that han deserves the first place. But i never realised why my bias always gets the least lines(I.N) and literally no one talks about it. I’ve noticed people crib about danceracha getting less lines especially lee know and felix. I love them but srsly I.N here being in the vocal line along with seungmin is getting such less lines and u guys just ignore it. I understand bout him getting less lines in the old albums but till now he’s not gotten the lines he deserves even though he has improved so much. I know u guys will say i’m only saying this cause he’s my bias but i am just stating the truth. I love 3racha but i think they should give more lines to I.N. (guys this is not a hate comment i am just stating an opinion and love skz🫶)
I agree that I.N has grown by leaps and bounds but we don't know and may never know why he still doesn't get more lines. Ppl argue that Felix isn't given enough either but Felix has made it clear that he does not like singing much because he doesn't think he's a good singer. I disagree; he's a good, stable, on pitch singer. Although I.N is a vocalist, it may be that he feels insecure even with as far as he's come and doesn't want to bite off more than (he thinks) he can chew. 3RACHA have said that although they write with ppl in my mind, the way a song becomes a final product is not always entirely up to them. It could even be a case where it's JYPE that doesn't want I.N to have more lines. 🤷♀️😕

I'd be very curious to see a screentime distribution as well. I started playing Skz for my mom and now she follows Skz as well, but for some reason she's become convinced, no matter what I tell her, that Han is being pushed aside and he doesnt get enough screentime or good lines and that the group only seems to care about what he can do and not him as a person.
I keep showing her evidence to the contrary, but she's convinced. Even in the last video, Lalalala, she's declared that everyone has amazing closeup shots and poor Han has a horrible showing, and why is he tied up...? She's convinced that Han is mistreated and I'm just sitting there wondering how we can watch the exact same videos and see such different things. I have no idea how to convince her that she's being ridiculous.
