hearing this broke me and healed me at the same time.
some lil backstory on this song too i read about before; this was written in 2017 with erik ron and him and the band brought this idea up a few times.
fast forward to 2023, telle helped finish the song and the hell to pay duo reunited one last time.
so bittersweet, i’ve needed to hear keats voice so badly, and the fact we’ve gotten this after everything is truly a gift.

Keaton was one of my real life best friends, from our late teen years to a few days before he passed away he never neglected our friendship even when he wasn't in town for long periods of time...I promise he was just as genuine, empathetic, and realistic in person as he is in his music ❤

@arlarimer9305 I absolutely believe that. Both Kyle Pavone's and Keatons passing really hit me with how I love their music. Watching some of Keaton's interviews, he just seems like a good person, he seems to show a lot of humanity and vulnerability.

My fiancee and I were just talking about how much his music influenced me and how much we love it. I was heartbroken when she told me of Keatons passing. She told me about this song as soon as it was dropped and we shared it together. So amazing so heartfelt. Brother you will truly be missed. From your angelic voice to you beautiful lyrics and the emotion that is so raw in your voice.
