I think I am in for a treat, 2 of my favorite actors. Xu Kai is lucky to act alongside Yang Mi... she is SO good; every character she has played has been wonderful. I hope the chemistry is there, I hope the script continues to be well written, and I pray to GOD, the writers don't turn Yang Mi's character into a raging, stupid woman and dumb her down! Keep her smart and savvy.

Coming back here after watching the full drama... If you are looking for only mushy romance, this may not fit your bill... But what it is, it's a beautiful love story filled with mutual respect and equality, set in the premise of the glass ceiling faced by ambitious women. Yang Hua and Qin Shi have a beautiful relationship inspite of the age gap... All the others - the parents, siblings, exes, office ppl do a very good job in putting together this drama... Special mention to the role of Li Dai... She played a kick-ass but adorable part.
It is a drama with realistic setting but not too much sadness, evil love rivals haunting the leads, or difficult parents...
I loved it. Go for it 💖

Amazing drama truly . I love the character development. I think the story was more realistic than those cringy sotries where main character is invisible and win everything. I learned a valuble lesson from the fml that is not to give up even when you fall to the bottom. I think i might just watch it whenever i need inspiration and have to face the next day even when i am already fucked up. Overall it is something worth to spend time especially for women.
