One of the best HK Chee Cheong Fun can also be found in this market. Super springy noodle, must try sambal/chilli oil and perfectly balanced soy sauce. Better than 'proper' dimsum shops nearby!
Amazing, you're the first RUclipsr I link-up. I saw my neighbour in this video. I follow your video every week since the beginning. Looking forward to see you in Sydney or Malaysia ❤️
First of all.. congratulations for your subscription are inching nearer to 40k...when I first subscribe it was only in thousand. Keep it up I miss those food at wai sick Kai back in the days in the 80s.
Durian Musang King, Three types of Chee Cheong Fun, Yau Char Kwai and many other great stalls featured makes one gastric juice oozing out into one's Duodenum uncontrollably. Good explanation on how the fruit Lulian ( durian) comes from and it does also makes me forget about "worrisome topics" when I eat some LuLian - not Musang King but Red prawn lulian !!!! Thank you Elmo for this interesting SS2 market area food haunt and as always it is a YATT LAU !!! & Mou Tak Deng !!! Also - I still prefer the classic style of Chee Cheong Fun with just Tim Cheong ( sweet red sauce ) - a bit of lat chew cheong ( spicy red chilly sauce) and must not miss the marinated green chilly slices to go with it - a dash of sesame seed with a good sprinkle of pak yau yeow ( soya sauce with cooking oil ). Thanks again Elmo and just had some time to view this episode now.
8:12 tried Rainbow CKT 9 RM with duck egg. Its quality is high! I enjoyed my visit to the local market and getting to see the various breakfast options even though I could only try 2 stalls this time
Hi Uncle Elmo! The friendly pau stall is good, my fav is his peanut pau, close to impossible to get peanut pau in PJ. The egg stall lady is truly sassy 🤦🏻♀️ Canning Garden ccf owners also just as sassy, they seem to dislike when we buy in small amount how much can 2 ppl eat I wonder 🤷🏻♀️ Looking forward to your next video take care!
I'm regular SS2 morning market goer, all the said food stalls also i like but missed out the kari mee next to the coffee stall, guess that stall closed during your video taking
Time flies, used to live in SS2 about 20 over years ago. The food court was the place I loved so much at that time, due to the variety of food served over there. Zhu chang fun seller as introduced by Elmo must be the same lady I used to patronize in the then Lim prawn mee, I supposed. SS2 is a nice place to live in, for its conveniences, prosperity of business development and also comparatively better educated residents, at least better than several other areas that I had lived in my opinion.
I agree .. SS2 day or night has plenty of food places. The morning market eversince they build the new structure it was cleaner and more organized . There's also an uncle that sells very nice curry mee just by the side of the main entrance next to the open space car park . Thanks again for sharing these places !
Hi Elmo. Good to see you. When Hor Weng Kee, the famous wan ton mee outlet, moved from Petaling Street I was glad to find out they came to SS2. I ate there many times relishing the great taste that I knew since young. I have not visited PJ for a long time and wonder if Hor Weng Kee is still there. Hope you can help. Thanks.
Maestro EL , I will definitely visit this food street/area on my next step over in Malaysia . I miss sotong kangong and popiah immensely 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Many thanks for this enticing video
The penang see hum chow fun stall is a bug disappointment. Tasteless and no wok hei at all! Lack of oil and kuey teow was dry. Better avoid this stall, one of the worst penang fried kuey teow I've eaten.

Elmo Lee, what are you holding to record the video at 6:00 . Been seeing this for quite a long time in the past videos and wanted to ask you.
It's the instan 360 degree camera
@@malaysiafood328 Wow! Thanks for the speedy reply. Is it Insta 360 X3 ?
Yes that's right they have a few models, mine is the mid range
Ok bro 😎
Elmo tells good stories.
Thanks mate
It's called carrot cake cause in Malaysia, we call daikon: white carrot. Since the "cake" is made of daikon, we call it carrot cake
Thanks for the interesting explanation Derek
👍👍👍
14:46 this open what time?😀
Hi garry they open at 7am

I think the taste of durian in China may not be so strong.
Thats right, b4 they discovered musang king, they were consuming thai durians which were less pungent
泰國榴槤有乜好食, Mount Kuching 同埋山芭至係最正嘅。
