Yes I do. I've actually started buying a little collection of some of the different 8 packs to see what I will be able to create with them and I've also gotten colored pencils to try also.
I really love that you use mediums that people consider inferior just because they're "children's". You are the artist that manages to encourage even budget stocker hobbyists like me. I dont have pencil blends or white pens or x-acto knives but I still feel like trying realism anyway thanks to this. Thanks so much for interacting with us and looking forward to 200 k! Btw since you're interested in dark skin have you considered drawing brown people too? I feel like their skin is more textured and blemished so it feels tougher (to capture)
Instead of white pens you can use those corrector pens or whiteners or you can use an emply ball pen to indent the paper and then work on the paper and it will preserve all the white highlights . And instead of the fancy exacto knife you can just use a regular blade thing, the retractable one . Those are super cheap too . All these are alternatives to the items you have mentioned which are super duper budget friendly too .
@@feb388 ah corrector pens... I tried. Need a thinner one 😂 it came out too thick. And a blade... now I'm considering trying that divider from math classes that I never used. Thanks for all this and the highlight tip. It needs some preemptive measures but it works nicely!!

Great job!! The coloring was awesome. I can't believe you did that with CRAYONS! Favorite Details- The skin shading & highlights- I love the mix of colors! It looks so real... I can't believe it's from crayons! I see the wrinkles, and it just looks AMAZING. Love it! The eye lashes- AHHH! I love how it looks when it's sorta inside of the eye and as well as on the outside. It looks so good! It's going in different directions and I think that's pretty neat. Great job! The eye- Okay so I don't know how to describe this, BUT the shading and highlight on the eye is amazing. I love the smooth transition into the eye lashes and skin! The pupil- I LOVE THE COLORS! I can never free-hand drawings and I have to trace them, but I never thought I'd find someone who has to trace drawings. The drawing looks amazing and beautiful and I could never do that, let alone with crayons.
I like how the crayons naturally gives the skin a sort of texture that would be harder, I feel, to achieve with some other mediums. The art turned out beautifully, btw.

Hey Temi! I know this doesn’t matter whatsoever but for the future, the black bit in the middle of the eye is the pupil, the coloured bit is the iris. You did great at this! I could never lol
This was a amazing drawing like always and I love when you can see how the artist did the piece because then you understand better how a lot of things are done. Also this is total optional you might not even see this but if you would be Ok with it could you maybe try doing a animal art piece with fur?
