Worthy of mention is the Azusa Street Revival, a Pentecostal revival meeting that happened in 1906, in Los Angeles. The revival which was led by an African American, William J Seymour was characterised by Spirit baptism with the evidence of speaking in other tongues, miracles and other spiritual experiences. It was that revival that spread to WV where my grandmother accepted Lord Jesus as her Savior, thus leaving a great legacy to her children, grandchildren and so beyond.
“Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man.” Proverbs 6:10-12

What about the Azusa Street revival, or the Asbury College revival in the 1970s, or the revivals in Wales 1904-05, and the Hebrides Is. 1949-54? Lord God send revival to the world again. Pastor Guzik that service produced the most movement I have seen in a Baptist congregation in years. Bless that man that got up first and stayed the duration, may the Lord redeem and bless him.

Massive question….one as a member of a church leadership…we are struggling with….why do people not respond to Gods word when it is biblical preached…..maybe three reasons….they are not saved…..they are living in sin….or maybe the and their christianity is more about legalism and ticking boxes …. then responding because of the grace of God in their lives…..but it’s very important question to ask
