I'm almost 18 and some person's don't try to sympathize that I don't want to be in a serious relationship, and that I have me to focus on. Trying to force feelings that aren't there. It's good to know someone else realizes this and it makes me feel not so different or selfish.
Yes Nia you are right, it's best for a woman to be independent. Independence is the key to happiness. I moved out when I was 25 and got married at 35!. I was happy living on my own and being my own boss. As a wife you have to be selfless and move as one. Men do not see marriage in the same way. I am a well traveled woman and diverse so a man can not control me.

Thanks for being transparent with us Tay. I really identify with you on so many levels. Emotional trauma depression and anxiety is like a rabbithole. There's been times when I had to sit still and figure out why I am who I am. It usually stems from childhood. You ever have a lightbulb moment and be like "That's it!"? Try finding peaceful areas more often and walk. It's cool to have someone with you but sometimes I walk alone so I can connect with the universe. It doesn't cure but it definitely helps point you in the right direction
