So love your vids...everytime I watch these vids I miss my dad, he was just like senior, full of life, out there and one amazing guy, jnr and the rest of the family should be so proud of him he seems like the cement of the family x luv the vids
Friends I used to ride with in the early 90s had these. 👌🤩They were pretty awesome in the woods, across mud holes, streams and up hill climbs!! So cool to see one again !! 👌🤩
Awesome video! My wife rides this model the last 20 years, she is able to keep up with us at the sand dunes, rock quarry and old sand pits. Just keep that jack shaft on both sides pumped full of high temp synthetic
That brings back memories. My brother bought one of those brand new. Rode like a Cadillac, and was stupid fun in the snow ❄️. BVC Off-road does big wheel conversions. Whatta ya think Ken, a CR500 big wheel!? How cool would that be!
Ken my first bike at 7 years old was a 2 stroke yamaha bw80 with a semi auto 3 speed transmission loved that bike! Awesome to see the 200 still around!
“IT’LL RRRRR, IT WILL DEF, IT WILL DEFINITELY, IT’LL RRR RRRRR RRRIP YOUR HOUSE OF ITS FOUNDATIONS”, that’s easily the best one you’ve done, and it never gets old sir, pissing myself laughing in Australia 😂😂👍🇦🇺🍻🍻 and then you admire it’s hairy knobs 🤔😂😂
They do steer wonky. The tires act like gyroscopes. But they are like a tractor with the jack shaft it is geared very low. The guy the bought it off me wanted it to pull his welder. He worked for the railroad. I said It’ll do it. He was going to use the mount for the flag for when you’re riding in the dunes as the trailer hitch.
I commented before about my buddy's neighbor at their cottage in upper Michigan. The retired couple next door had a couple Mancos big wheel bikes. Those were fun. Climb anything! Cool bike y'all! Happy Mothers Day
Hi, nice and rare old Yamaha bike , nice sound 4 stroke, big wheels, u go any where. It's Brand new, Congratulations u love motorcycles like me I started on Honda XL 75, 79 yr, Best Regards from Chile José
Ken when i was a young boy on my CR60 My older sisters wanted a bike so my dad bought them a Honda FatCat just like that one but it was white and purple, that thing would go just about Anywhere, i just wish Dad held on to it, maybe thats why i dont sell my boys race bikes i think one day he will appreciate that when there sitting in his trophy room with all the trophies he and they won! I love it always wanted one of those big weel. I had the atc 200x Honda motor run forever. I over inflated the tires when It would rain and the snow melted the trails would be underwater I run it and float i used to bring it on the snowmobile trails in the spring time i could drive it through all deep water no problem. I remember how smooth the 4 stroke 200 runs Nice machine fun ride.
Considering trading my 2001 cr250r for a 1986 bw200. The only thing wrong with the big wheel is the starter motor for the electric start. What do you guys think? I don't really care about speed.
Those Yamaha big wheels are a blast! My buddy had 1 an it was indestructible w/minimum basic maintenance. He loved it bk in day! That one you guys have purrrrrrs man..that engine sounds smooth as vanilla ice cream. Def wasn't beat & well maintained.
LOL,,, back in 86-87 a buddy showed up with one of these... we were all riding motor cross or IT, XR bikes,,, then we found out how stupid fun it was to ride... hahaha
I remember one of the older kids getting something similar in the late 70’s in the UK. First bike I ever rode (Into a tree) no clue what bike hopefully someone in here can point me to what it was
Wow! Im early! Guys if you ever come across a YZ400F please do a little showing of it. I know alot of people hate that bike but I have one and she"s all I'v got and I love her. They are actually fast and fun bikes,I know they have there downfalls but they were in there infancy.
Gorgeous and awesome Bike. Love the bed liner on it. I have many friends that hunt alot, particularly, deer. They would love that bike. Hell, I would love this bike!
Reminds me of my little Yamaha tri Moto dx225 '86 model man is that little thing a beast of a work horse to be so small it'll pull a rank of wood up a fairly steep Rocky Hill pretty easy (if ya go at just right) on the back of one of those lightweight angle iron trailers ( it's big brother grizzly 700 is very impressed) it's done it for about over a decade now sense I bought it USED FOR $250 still runs and looks like new 😁👍
I feel like a 250 2 stroke swap would 100% change everything about this bike. Clearly it’s a tractor from the factory but dang could you imagine this thing with a twitchy amount of power
What is a rough one that runs and rides worth these days I picked up one for 850 the other day I have always wanted one but I got it for my pops he won't ride my old 2 stroke wrs he says they are terrifyingly fast even the stock one so I found something that isn't as maniacal he rides his tote goats but the belts slip and won't climb steep hills and they only do 25 mph
G'day mate they were popular in Australia farmers love best Ag bike of all times you are right they are work horses go for ever and you never see them for sale. In the 90's I road a BW350 when I worked at a farm I fell in love with that Yammi what a machine. How much do you want for yours mate.
Batman’s new dirt bike 😂 wow what a bike I’d paint it completely black put one of Chrissie’s (hope i got her name right) amazing custom sticker kits a Batman one “obviously” on it and that would be such an awesome looking bike and with a little wizadry awesome running too. God bless and stay safe

I could watch SR be excited about bikes all day man. When’s he getting a Netflix special?!?
Friends I used to ride with in the early 90s had these. 👌🤩They were pretty awesome in the woods, across mud holes, streams and up hill climbs!! So cool to see one again !! 👌🤩
I'm not gonna lie. I kinda wanted a fat-cat back in the day. Sometimes slow bikes are funner than a rip roaring cr500
The custom black and red looks sharp.
First motorcycle I ever rode at age 14 and the one that made me fall in love with riding. They were awesome in the sand.
Ken's the definition of work hard play hard you should write a motivational book
I can't understand why Yamaha and Honda stopped making these! I would love to have one. Seems like the ultimate trail bike to me.
Yamaha makes a TW200. It’s pretty close to this and has a cult following, as well.

Heck yeah, put a long swingarm on it gear it for the moon and head to the dragstrip. Long low and nasty haha....but with out the tall wheels 🤪
I had a BW 350 when I was 16. I hated it. It got stuck in the mud. It was too heavy. I wanted a CR 250.
my friend almost died on one! He was around 12 at the time, circa 1991 or something! lol
Ken my first bike at 7 years old was a 2 stroke yamaha bw80 with a semi auto 3 speed transmission loved that bike! Awesome to see the 200 still around!

I had an '87 350 Big Wheel was a beast!. Got rid of it about 9 yrs. ago.. I should've never gotten rid of it ..now I can't find one lol.
They do steer wonky. The tires act like gyroscopes. But they are like a tractor with the jack shaft it is geared very low.

This is the bike I grew up with. It was my first bike. We took them out on the snow on Christmas. I’ve conquered all terrains
Why isn't there a six pack strapped to the rack?? Those things are rad!
I commented before about my buddy's neighbor at their cottage in upper Michigan. The retired couple next door had a couple Mancos big wheel bikes. Those were fun. Climb anything! Cool bike y'all! Happy Mothers Day
I love my BW200. I made mine properly street legal, a blast around town bombing over curbs and fast enough to keep up with traffic in town.
Where did you get the graphic kit for it?
Love these , i remember how it would straighten out when you hit the gas in a turn.. Lots of fond memories riding these
It'll riiiiip your house off the foundation 🤣😂

Those fat cats go for big money nowadays
Nice I had the Honda fat cat I wish I kept it
I had one of these it would go in over 2 feet of snow.
Had the BW80 too. It was two stroke. It was a goer

@@KaplanCycles I'm tempted. I'm in Florida though.
Bought one new in 86. Red white gold rims. 1200.00. Sold it 22 years later 1200.00. now worth more. Was a blast on goat trails
I saw this Company that turns 500 2 strokes into these big wheels its nuts!!
Great bikes...not designed to be fast but great fun on the beach.
LOL,,, back in 86-87 a buddy showed up with one of these... we were all riding motor cross or IT, XR bikes,,, then we found out how stupid fun it was to ride... hahaha
I want one so fuckinnn bad man.. there's one near me for 1200$ clean and runs, just needs cables wired up, but no title :/
They didn't have titles back then.
I kept waiting for you to yell, SNAP INTO A SLIM JIM! lmao 🤣😂
2 hundrit. My personal first bike after minibike...
The black grill paint is a nice touch.
I had a big wheel 80 2-stroke when I was a kid, I can confirm definitely go anywhere machines
I remember one of the older kids getting something similar in the late 70’s in the UK. First bike I ever rode (Into a tree) no clue what bike hopefully someone in here can point me to what it was
What tires are on that BW? I like the rounded profile.
Love the big wheels! I remember servicing a fat cat when working at a shop. Fun to ride! Better than any three wheeler for sure. I have a BWS 50.
Man I lusted after those as a 13 year old kid!
Hahaha...dude we gave Lisa hell for her's back in the day....and we all rode the shit out of it. Awesomeness
I had the BW80 as a kid and my god I wish I still had it! Ugh!
Wish Yamaha still made these
Rare, obscure, weird and cool as sh@t! I dig it!!
I was waiting on this one.... I saw it the other week when it came out the trailer.... that's awesome.. 2cool.
I would love to see a CR500 engine swapped into one of these
Wow dangerous
There’s a shop on RUclips that did a big wheel conversion on a CR500. Can’t remember their name but it will pop up if you search for a big wheel 500.
OMG that would be the ultimate BW !! 🤟😛🔥🔥🔥
@@TheKevinhaeb BVC Off-road…they make some badass kits

Only big wheel I ever got to sit on and take for a spin was the Honda. Did the TW200 come before or after this ?
86 for the big wheel, 87 for the first TW.
Big wheeling lets gooooo!
Gorgeous and awesome Bike. Love the bed liner on it. I have many friends that hunt alot, particularly, deer. They would love that bike. Hell, I would love this bike!

That would look real good next to my tw200
I just bought 2 of these for $4000 and they were in really good condition. The catch was that we had to buy both or none of them
Great vid, I have the same bike on my channel and this is motivation to get it out again!
My friend had one of these when he was growing up

The Yamaha TW200 pays homage to this, it seems. Tires aren’t quite as big, but still pretty wide. Cool bikes. Maybe the only 4 stroke I’d want to buy.
It reminds me of my old Honda big red trike
I have a BW80 wish I had a 200 version
I need one of these for my boys. Awesome.
they also made a 350 version!
Great bikes in both engine sizes. Not the bike for hwy use, but great for everything else.

How does it do on sand ?
They pretty much float on top of sand. Really fun bikes.
It looks like a TW 200 an entire case of cookies😅 I love these, I want a couple of them.
no wheelies?
sounds fun I can tell by the way You both giggling like two girls would be riding it 😂👍
Allways wanted one of those. Looked for years and gave up on the idea.
Did James end up getting it? 🤔🏍🏁
How much is the price on that bike
