@@elijahvigil7467 well he and Patty both had good points after the Parents night. How could parents just take inspiration words so negatively and take it the wrong way? Kids want to be touched by inspiration, just like the person inspiriting wants to be touched also by the accomplishment. Modern society sucks.
That and the fact that he says "I'm pretty sure I touched all of your kids" didn't sound right. When people say "touched" and "kids" in the same sentence, it usually doesn't have the best meaning.
He also stole his roommate's/best friend's identity and put his job in serious jeopardy. No wonder Ned told Dewey to move out due to that big of a betrayal.
@lordshenfan6625 Well, in the beginning of the movie he thought he and his rock band were going to star in a concert and make a lot of money when Patty and Ned told him to come up with some money for the rent. Unfortunately fof him, he was kicked out at the last minute and then got the phone call for a substitute and posed as the substitute since all this happened at the last minute where he needed money urgently since there was no time for him to go job searching to be a music teacher. At least he got that job to be a music teacher at the end of the movie while Ned got a job teaching young kids music.

Not to mention is it possible that all the kids and their parents see the real Ned and his ANNOYING girlfriend Patty? But I still find it funny there anyways! 😄😄😄
@collincaulfield3399 I wondered that too since I'm sure Patty wouldn't have told the cops to let him go since she called the cops to have him arrested I'm sure. Maybe Ned told the cops that they can let him go and not have to arrest him and then Dewey grabbed his guitars and ran away out of fear and embarrassment. Or maybe the cops gave him a warning saying that they will let him go but said that if he does it again, he will get arrested where he grabbed his guitars and ran away out of fear and embarrassment. After that maybe the cops said that no person with the name Ned Shneebly can work at the school which explains in the next scene that Ned's career was now in jeopardy because of Dewey.
Anyone else see this movie from Patty’s perspective? She’s made out to be the antagonist, but I think by calling Dewey out for his lack of job and inability to pay rent and calling the cops on him later, she was doing the right thing all along and she was looking out for Ned
@@maxxh5331 maybe you have a point, I just feel like Dewey being a lazy slob and jeopardizing his best friend’s career affects both Ned and Patty equally, so how is Patty wrong when she says Ned is a pushover who can’t stick up for himself and telling Dewey that what he did was selfish?

@molassio1989 That's true but, maybe they didn't like the fact that their kids weren't going to be educated enough with only music which wouldn't have given them enough learning power when they move on to the next grade and/or the next school which would have caused them to repeat that grade with a different teacher.

I grew up in the hood most of my life. When I was 4 and started watching this movie, I already got the picture of what he said, and what they all thought bc I saw a lot of illegal activity at such a young age
Hey brother
Lol the way he repeats the subjects that he supposedly teaches them little kids 😂 0:53- 0:58
“Summer is going to be the first woman president.”
*cries in Hillary Clinton*
i mean technically summer could still be the first woman president.
I wish parents nights was like that rather than have a one on one
I loved the part where there were a pair of cops but he just ran away lol
Jack Black is Hilarious
How could parents just take inspiration words so negatively and take it the wrong way? Kids want to be touched by inspiration, just like the person inspiriting wants to be touched also by the accomplishment. Modern society sucks.
I mean he did lie about who he is, so the odds are not in his favour
That and the fact that he says "I'm pretty sure I touched all of your kids" didn't sound right. When people say "touched" and "kids" in the same sentence, it usually doesn't have the best meaning.
I think because he’s a man, plus he’s not a real teacher. So therefore what he said, make them think he must be a sick pervert.
4:03 it was a metaphor! Can't you all get it?
I can't believe she called the cops for no reason.
Well impersonating a teacher is against the law so she did have a reason
I hate people like that.
Typical Karen.
Technically she had a reason.
@@lukedaley17 i hate this lady as much as anybody but technically dewy comitted petite Larson and identity thefr
Am I the only one laughing when he said that he’s been touched by there kids, and he’s touched them. Because that’s funny ass hell
no I was laughing too
I'm laughing too. God that came out wrong. So wrong.
Lmfaooo that was too funny
Then he was like oh shit!
He’s right here officer
Who else didn't get the "Touched" line when you were younger?
What if Miranda Cosgrove actually does end up becoming the first female president? That would be hilarious.
3:43 W H A T T T T T T T T T T T T
the only reason Patty called the police is because Dewey was impersonating a teacher
He also stole his roommate's/best friend's identity and put his job in serious jeopardy. No wonder Ned told Dewey to move out due to that big of a betrayal.

How is this home- [TO BE CONTINUED]
Learning good music is homework!!!!!!
Real Homework!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well some families don’t get about music. Like the movie Coco, the Hispanic family is forbidden music.
@@logancaldwell7813”NO MUSIC”
@@johnnyzero8853 “YES MUSIC”
Honestly I think dewy would be a good music teacher in a way. So I think he could have been that instead.
1 yes i know comments old
2 he was pretending to be ned to make money
@lordshenfan6625 Well, in the beginning of the movie he thought he and his rock band were going to star in a concert and make a lot of money when Patty and Ned told him to come up with some money for the rent. Unfortunately fof him, he was kicked out at the last minute and then got the phone call for a substitute and posed as the substitute since all this happened at the last minute where he needed money urgently since there was no time for him to go job searching to be a music teacher. At least he got that job to be a music teacher at the end of the movie while Ned got a job teaching young kids music.
I doubt Dewey would ever be allowed near the school ever again
4:01 I love how Dewey’s like “Okay, that kinda came out wrong.”
Wow the clip starts out with David Bowie. I love that!
Ok maybe instead of saying “Touched”, he could have said something like “Inspired”.
0:45 1:17 1:24 1:29 Excuse me! Ever since you started teaching here, all my son can talk about is music, he says when he grows up he wants to be a musician! Is this your influence?! Yeah Mr. Schneebly, why has my daughter become obsessed with David Geffen? And how is this homework? 😄😄😄 Love those quotes from the movie. 3:20 3:24 Hey, he told Ned not to say anything to you, Patty! 3:56-4:04 Well thanks a lot Patty! I hope you’re happy! You ruined Dewey’s chance to get in a rock band again! 😡😡😡 I’m just pointing it out because if anyone Dewey should get mad at, it's Patty because she's the one that mainly ratted him out on him not being a teacher! 😡😡😡 He doesn’t need to worry about Ned. Not to mention is it possible that all the kids and their parents see the real Ned and his ANNOYING girlfriend Patty? But I still find it funny there anyways! 😄😄😄
I know I know! I just like pointing out on who is really at fault for ratting Dewey (Jack Black) out.
I feel Dewey's fear trying to get out all the things he needs to say before he gets shot
3:58 Fancy Pants' "EWW"
I haven't watched this movie, but were his lines taken out of context when he meant about inspiration?
Yes
hahahahaha yes. Hope you've watched it since making this comment, cause its actually a really good movie. Also Miranda Cosgrove is in it, she's cool.
The "How has my daughter become obsessed with David Geffen" line always kills me.
Patty's face at 3:21.
r.i.p. kevin clark aka freddy :( rock out with god & rock the drums with Him in heaven :(
Freddy Jones, SHUDDAP! LOL.
But seriously, his passing was terrible.
@@tuberaddict2000 i was shocked when i first heard
How did he get out of the classroom with the cops and principal at the door?
He's the dragon warrior, that's the only explanation
She doesn’t care about Ned, she just hates Dewey so much that she was happy to finally have a reason for him to get in trouble.
Even I got that line when I was 11 lmao
In case you didn’t know, Suzanne Douglas, who played Tomika’s mother, died on July 6. 2021 after a 2 year battle with pancreatic cancer, around a month and a half after Kevin Clark died.
Why would the police tell the public about the crime until its been investigated?
They knew about it cause Patty told them that Dewey impersonated Ned.
Laaaatin! Love it
Bowser: VANELLOPE!!!😡😡😡
(Picks Vanellope up and punches her into a car, then tries to flame her with his fire breath) YOU RUINED MY JOB AT TEACHING!

Don't u mean Miranda Cosgrove?
@@vlpinfinity9448 yeah yeah Miranda😂
And ever since she was on Nickelodeon, it's like she really hasn't aged. If you've seen her on Drake and Josh and iCarly and then see how she looks today, she pretty much looks exactly the same.
The line "I'm pretty sure I've touched them" came out horribly wrong. LOL
3:47 - 3:50 I imagine ryan reynolds in that situation responding with "came out wrong? yep, that came out wrong... well shit...."
“Hm, very poor choice of words!”

How about another joke Murray

As a kid I totally didn’t get the line. Like many, and many years later… Fuck 🤣🤣 how did that flow through my head. What a poor choice of words man..
Jack Black said enough with the education system & runs off to join Van Halen.😂🎸
“AND HOW IS THIS HOMEWORK?!”Leave it to the Asian dad being strict on the homework!
3:47 bad choice of words.
that was a big no no to say lol also knowing there's a song called dewey's bedroom is even more heartfelt

Anybody else notice the song playing was "T.V. Eye" by the Stooges?
I never understood how these parents don't like rock music. Aren't they the right age? Or at least the right age for eighties metal? Who are these parents.
They’re a bunch of annoying rich snobs, lol
@molassio1989 That's true but, maybe they didn't like the fact that their kids weren't going to be educated enough with only music which wouldn't have given them enough learning power when they move on to the next grade and/or the next school which would have caused them to repeat that grade with a different teacher.
Didnt notice Patti's reaction at 3:21 proving that she's really using Ned so she did not make an appearance at the end of the movie.
