In this video I perform a famous etude from the russian composer Felix Blumenfeld, written around 1905 (and dedicated to the pianist Leopold Godowsky), which is only played with the left hand.
I hope my rendition does it justice.
Let me know whether you enjoy it in the comments!
“o__o booo, you used two hands, performance ruined” ... wasn’t expecting that, made me laugh 😂
I hope this channel gets revived soon, looks like a very promising one, definitely deserves to blow up
Looks very tricky to play! And kudos for playing relatively unknown works :)
You've also played it very musically, I really enjoyed all the romantic melodies in this.
Thank you! I'm really glad you appreciate it! ^_^
Just gonna leave a comment here before this channel blows up.
Hmm....okay...thanks.. ^__^
Wow very well done! Love the ending haha! God bless and thank you for sharing your talent 🙏❤
Underrated channel...
Благодарю за возможность просмотра этого контента! Великолепное исполнение красивой музыки!
Such an underrated channel
Lovely! Didn’t imagine I would find a version in this format. I hope this channel grows
Wow! I'm glad I found this channel, keep at it!!
4:17 I laughed
I fucking love this.... Ling Ling bless you
Very nice hand! 🐧
Thanks! Don't concentrate on the hand too much though, cause when a finger points to the moon, you don't want to only look at the finger! ^_____^
This is perfect
I may need to practice this. My left hand is nearly always the problem. I can't even manage a c major scale properly
Go on and do it! You'll find that this etude is actually very comfortable to the hand. If it's too hard though, you may first want to check out CPE Bach's Solfeggietto arranged for the left hand alone by Albert Ross Parsons (it's available on IMSLP). It's easier but also sounds great! ^_^
Looks awesome)
this is pretty epic
Kinda sounds like Liebestraum?
Woah, now that I think about it, you're right! The beginning melody is pretty similar as well as part of the development! ^_^
@@Propp_ Hoping to be a great pianist like you! 😁
@@xejashtondejesus1592 You just have to love love love piano!
@@Propp_ Thank you, trying to learn the K 545 by Mozart, the first movement
hey! I just noticed how beautiful your playing is and that we have a very similar taste in composers and wanted to see if you would reach out for contact even though you haven't posted in a while :) if you would like to please just respond, thanks!
