For those who doesn’t know boystory: JYP debuted a group with all chinese members, trained them in korea before sent them back to debut in their own country. After he saw Zeyu, he wants to start it from him. That's why they held an audition called 'Guaishushu is Coming' in Sept 2016. They traveled around china to find 5 boys with amazing talent but around Zeyu's age. In late August 2017, they back to China for their 1st single of Real! Project, "HOW OLD R U." The song and MV was made, recorded and filmed in Korea. BOY STORY debuted on 21 Sept 2018 with their 1st Mini Album 'Enough' JYP collaborated with local Chinese company, since foreign company can’t get into the Chinese market so easily. They collaborated with Tencent Music Entertainment (it’s like sony music and republic records for skz and other jyp artists) and then formed NCC (New creative contents) to manage BOY STORY in China. They mainly promote in china that's why not a lot of ppl know them outside bc china already has a big market and they have their own media called weibo, while for us its youtube. Additional info: boystory is under ncc ent. which is a joint venture by tencent music and jype china. ncc is under jype china's subsidiary, while project C (the chinese trainees that are set to debut since 2019 ) are under fanling culture media ltd. which is a direct subsidiary of jype china THEY ARE GOING TO HAVE THEIR DEBUT PERFORMANCE IN SOUTH KOREA starting on m countdown, and other music shows. They are really great dancers and are really known by a lot of c-pop idols older than them. There was a show called, “for the family’s honor/ for our glory” where different groups of music companies in china show their talents/ introduce their group and boystory was picked the most when asked “who’s the group they wanted to see/ watch out for?” bc they said, at a young age they’re already popular and good performers than them who are older which they seem to disregard boystory at first and admitted that they were wrong abt that lol. Fun fact: stray kids is very close with boystory since they were also shown on the stray kids survival show, when the member MINGRUI was much younger, many stays and skz said that he looked like felix. Now they’re taller and have deeper voice too. Pls show ur support for them later, i hope that ppl will take them well since they're chinese and we all know the stigma between knetz and chinese
