i just bought this cooler. i plan to use it to cool my intel core i7-13700k in my new build soon. this installation seems pretty nice and simple, thank you for the easy to follow video guide! i'm excited for this new build.
The most W thing that this cooler has is the new base for intel🎉 Also, 420mm of that beast is just amazing! I changed from be quiet with 2/2 problematic pump into arctic and my i7 13th is calming down!
Thank you Arctic for making a great product and continually improving it. I especially love the improved VRM fan design and looks. My only regret is that I didn't get the RGB version. Is there a way in the near future to purchase just an RGB VRM fan component? Since it would be so easy to change that out! Brilliant!
You guys should seriously make more liquid freezer 2s for people with older systems or update the mounting for this thing not only for intel but also for AMD to accommodate older systems.
@azznbones did you ever figure this out? I had the same issue at 1st until I realized I cheated a bit and tried to install on the mobo after casing it. There's a small separate backplate on the other side of the mobo that the screws thread into, sandwiching the mobo between itself and either the stock bracket or in this case the AIO contact frame when mounted properly. If you haven't figured it out then I bet it's that, so pulling the mobo out should reveal the back plate loose behind it somewhere. Position and line up the backplate on the back side of the mobo and then you should be able to thread the screws through the Arctic contact frame, the mobo holes, and then thread into the backplate properly, making a secure fit.
yeah had same issue, make sure its the new screws and either the intel or amd ones (depends on board) personally had the backplate come off for intel and was misaligned, fixed and all good
Is the provided screws too long for the radiator mounting? Or is it supposed to hang without being snugged up. Seems like they are too long and I don't want to puncture radiator.

Sadly, this isn't possible. 🙁
Yall shipped me a cooler with no intel contact frame. I literally just pulled my whole entire pc apart to put this on and am sitting here dumbfounded. Like what the fuck am I supposed to do now????
Any chance you're gonna support LGA 1200?
Sadly, not out of the box 😥
@@ARCTIChannel any plans for it maybe? I'd love to buy one to cool my 10900k
Work it in musatek y6 chasis?
Should work up to 360mm, the 420 is too big :)
With Liquid Metal on stress test and arctic 420 iii I hit 96 Celsius I think to hot ….. oute side temperature 36/38
Where do you live to have room temps so high if you don't mind me asking?
@@zord0nTV I live in Greece !!
Are u supposed to buy a contact frame separately?
The contact frame does come with the Liquid Freezer III out of the box! 😊
What the case is it?
It is a "HAF 500" case
@@ARCTIChannelI'm using the HAF700 case and ASRock Z790 motherboard with Intel CPU like this video. For some reason, the provided screws just won't tighten into these holes like shown in this video to secure the backplate. Please help!
I don’t have 4 holes for the bracket????
How could instructions not come with this unit... Criminal...
You can use the QR Code printed on the package. It will lead you to the online instructions :)
These *are* the instructions.
How could one be so foolish. Criminal.
I bought a one but the socket never screws in what do i do?(lga1700)
Do you have backplate on other side? It may fall out if not supported from back side
@@torkalovolodymyr5097what do you mean backplate ?
@@torkalovolodymyr5097i am having the same issue where nothing can be screwed in
@@delilawackerson1292 behind socket there is metal plate with threaded holes. When you unscrew original socket it falls of if you don't hold it. It may be somewhere in PC case
@@torkalovolodymyr5097 yeah it turns out my backplate fell out when i unscrewed the latch for the cpu to install the contact frame, and was hiding in the back of my pc the whole time🤦♂️
This cooler is BS. I unscrewed the retention mechanism and now nothing will screw into those holes, they’re completely lose with no threading. I wasn’t in a rush. I did it normally. Thanks for fucking my computer, Arctic.
Do you mean the holes the contact frame screw into? The video clearly shows you need the backplate, it most likely just fell off in the back of your case.
What a terrible install.
would i plug the all in one cable into the cpu fan slot or the pump fan slot?
CPU Fan is the right one :)
Do i plug the all in one connector to CPU fan or CPU opt? I dont have pump connectors on my motherboard
They did not responde to you! They give absolutely NO INSTRUCTIONS on how to connect the cables THAT S OTRAGEOUS
