    Thanks for the video. This was great, CoH looks complex, but you really made it easier to understand 🔥

      Fun fact: Its by far the worst game from the series and also the main reason why Relic is in a pile of shit right now. Yeah this is what happens when u dont listen to community.

      Not really true any more. COH 3 now is excellent

    I've played thousands of hours of the COH and AOE franchises and love both. To sum up the difference, AOE is for people who love to macro and enjoy a little micro, and COH is for people who are too lazy to macro and LOVE to micro.

    One big difference is that COH is less prone to build order canned strat. In AOE4, vs some BO if you don't instantly do the exact counter-build order it's gg. AOE4 needs a lot of knowledge to know what your opponent doing. Developers like to make it even more difficult by changing every season the balance of all civilizations

    CoH 2 was legendary. Shame no Soviets or Japanese factions yet though.

    • @Diamondeye299
      @Diamondeye299 Год назад +3

      Well this game is set in Italy and North Africa so it makes sense that the Soviets aren’t in the game yet. And sega is a Japanese company so the chances of a Japanese faction is low but I would still love a pacific front

    The main differences for me outside of setting are that COH is a decent stab at a tactical simulation while AOE is its own beast with nods to flavour. It's not "best simulation ever" but it has a lot of good feels which is worth something to some people. (Like me but Steel Division has more & I moved on).
    COH is also an out & out wargame with economy being dictated by how much land you have conquered in your war. If you like base building, defences and macro it is very much not for you. If you only like fighting it may be. I suspect it has a lower skill cap too oh and RNG (see stab at simulation).

    not even sure if COH3 is better then COH2 or 1. I still prefer COH1 over 2, not to mention 3, which is plagued by bugs and released in an unifinished state.

    CHAD GAMING

  • @hth54
    @hth54 Год назад +5

    1. Decade old graphics and ugly art style
    2. Very buggy all over from graphics to game play
    3. Absolutely horrific UI, and it takes most of the screen AND its not SCALABLE as it was in the previous COH2. I looks like something from a mobile game. Something unfinished.
    4. Sound is mediocre at best.
    It doesn't matter if this is just released. This game is charging £50 (£70 for digital prem) and is advertising itself as triple AAA. All criticism is valid criticism. It will likely still say the same six months from now.
    Live service games are a disaster and Company of Heroes being in the same boat as Dawn of War 3 puts absolutely no lessons learned inward.
    They expect full price? We expect full-high expectations. This game is worth £20 / £25 at this rate.
