Chris Evans, a 33-year-old DTES resident, was identified by police as the man who allegedly threw a skateboard at a transit bus before picking it up and hitting it several more times on June 12, 2011. Following the incident, a police dog chased Evans down in an alley where it bit and held onto his right leg, leaving him with gashes that took 100 staples to close.
