I will pick-up exactly the same bike in 2 weeks. Could buy it 2nd hand. Will switch from a F700 GS into this R1200GSALC version. As you can imagine, can't wait to ride it!

Beast. Getting mine in 2017, ready for a 3,000 mile trip. The waiting will be worth it.

So, back to comment...after 8 long months. Just rode an R9T, GS and the GSA. Easiest and nicest bike to ride of the three.... the GSA. Easier to turn into corners than the R9T and more practical. Easier at low speed and in traffic than the standard GS. Plus when you turn the fog lights on everyone sees you. I had a whole row of cars pull in so I could filter down the middle through traffic. It is so difficult to explain it looks massive and it is, but you can easily go very slowly (walking pace) just by feathering the clutch and blipping the throttle a bit. I just remembered not to paddle with my legs, got my right leg up and off. The slow speed control is truly amazing. Downsides...well the cost, but then possibly all the bike you ever need. Scraping the money together as we speak :)

It sounds like you got it all figured out. And testing different bikes is the correct way to go before purchasing. Good luck and ride safe! Grts

Bought the GSA 2016 with all the toys about 6 weeks ago. Just amazing. So nice and easy to ride. After returning to biking after 20 years amazing how nice to ride. Only issue is moving it around when parking...have to careful with the weight.

So Belmoto thank you for the great videos. Which bike do you prefer Multistrada 2015 or GSA 2015?
Returning to bike after quite a break (15 years), don't know whether to get a big bike from the start or get an interim bike like a Scrambler or R9T.

+Patrick Harrison Thanks, well that is a personall choice. One that is made by going on a testride with all of them. They all drive quite differently. The only one we didn't get a chance to try is the R9T. But from what we hear its also a great bike. What would be your main usage for the bike? Or what do expect from it?

+Belmoto - Well, I would like to travel across Europe etc..But the reality is that I have a family and work etc...So any bike I get will really only be used for weekend rides and probably up to 100 miles at a time. As I work in tech it might be nice to have something with just soul....so leaning towards the R9T. I also had (a long time ago, in a galaxy far far away) an R75/7. It was rubbish - brakes, handling. But it had a real soul, low-end torque, gurgled and popped on the overrun etc. Regret selling it. Anyway the perfect time for buying a bike is almost here...January & February :)
Thanks again for all the great reviews.
Would be good if RUclips introduced a "tip jar" as the ads probably don't make much money.
