This is, all of the FOX people on network news are working extra hours and doing more shows for their pay. TGIF wasn't the only ones and the FOX news people have to go on location. Funky was not worth all the trouble or more money. If that is the case, some othe network will offer him a show.

There seems to he an ever-present narrative that claudia is problematic. What problematic person gets others, a good and easy six figure check? That's not how problematic works. And, IMO, Claudia should be way more upset than she has been because she advocated for Al to be on the show. In return, Al ends up being difficult and the reason for the show being prematurely canceled.

This was not a cancellation done about drama, it was money and ratings. One show cannot financially sustain a network.
Many shows on network have had cast changes, but if the quality was good, the viewers stay. If the cast, demands more than the network is willing to pay, the show gets the ax.

Armon was a bad fit from the get-go. Looking at his content and persona, he wasn't gonna gel long term. He wasn't to blame for everything, but he exposed everything to the public, which was actually on brand, so in a way, he was right😂. The bad re-casting just added to a bad situation. They could have closed off on a high note and written the story how they wanted without the roast. That mess was unnecessary. And now Claudia is out here running around like an amateur, bad look.

If I had to pick one person to blame for the demise of the show I think it’s Al 😂😂 however, I do agree that at the core of it they all played a part in this. It’s obvious they were not making a profit. Ask yourselves “who was TGIF sponsors?” To just pay the talent 15,000 a week means you have to be making a significant amount of money.
This is true. I noticed the lack of major sponsors which means the cancellation was inevitable. TGIF wasn’t profitable for the network. I predict the FS network will be gone within a year.
With all honesty, they really should have replaced the Funky with Alex, and I'm not saying as just a fan of yours. It is how you cover celebrity news, your comedic time, and knowledge of the industry that would have balanced the energy of the show.

I think this was all STAGED😢 I think they wanted to end the show due to poor ratings. Funky was eating their asses up, and they wanted to save face. Armon has his own platform, so he wasn’t losing out on anything… Al gets to sue, and get some money from FOX till his show takes off and/or he gets any shiw opportunity. Al has 5 jobs, so he’s really not hurting… and Queen Claudia will always be alright, she’s gonna make sure of that💯👏🏽🤣…I wish them all the best and will support each of them. I just think this was staged. The Roast was a New Thing, they have roasted each other before. They just roasted Claudia on her birthday… it was a little cringy too🤣… but not like Al’s. Armon, didn’t just decide to air issues to the public based on being there a month 🤷🏽♀️ They just wanted to end the show… it wasn’t doing well without Funky❤

I think it obviously was Al who told Armon not to pick up the calls from Claudia. Armon said in his roast that Al claims to hate Claudia, talks about her like a dog then turns around and talks about everyone else to Claudia. Armon said Al is two faced and I believe him after watching the show from the beginning. Al wants to be the smartest one on the panel and hates to be up staged. Al tried to SON Armon a lot in the beginning until Armon called him out on it. Al’s a jealous hearted Queen. You see how he spoke to Dr. Heavenly when she filled in for Claudia once and made sure she NEVER was able to return to the show. He got really loud and nasty with her. Even though Heavenly can be a B herself sometimes. However, Al couldn’t pull those stunts with Funky. Funky kept Al in his place.

Well Armon had his 15 minutes of fame and royally F whatever was left of the show.
The Dr Heavenly episode where Al and the good DR had a disagreement. Al escalated their difference into a full on beef. That was my first inclination there was more to Al that meets the eye and it was not good.
Armon came with his own fan base and was a good addition. He came into a setting that was already on edge .. he covered pop culture, let’s not limit him to just “ female hip hop beef.”
In my opinion Armon is a one man show therefore he had no business casting with other people. He is a batch of graoes by himself.
Why is the back-biting on black shows is always publically exposed? The same behaviors on predominately whyte shows go on until the wheels fall off many years later at significantly higher compensation levels.
I think non- compets are now illegal in California, which is where Fox Soul is based. If they had asked for a non-compet any smart rep would ask for a premium (more money)
The real problems at Fox Soul started when James DuBose left the network. It was also always under funded

Claudia reminded us that TEA-GIF was her show, and that Funky Dineva and Al were hosts. She had the most to lose, but she personally mismanaged the personalities on the show.
Think about it. Out of all the people on the show, Claudia is the only host who has anyone outside the show who can quote things she said or show text messages of things she wrote about her hosts. Claudia was in the streets openly disparaging her hosts.
If Claudia was talking to Tasha K... Tasha K!, about her hosts, there is no limit to who she talked to and there is no limit to how she dragged her hosts behind their backs.
I'm sure what Claudia said about them got back to Funky Dineva and Al, and that is why they had a problem with her. Claudia started the fire.
This is backed up by Funky initially saying that "people" were doing things behind the scenes as being the reason he left the show. Only later did Funky say that the "people doing things behind the scenes" were Claudia.
Look at Claudia's posts. She's posted she hates Al. WTF is wrong with her? She can't keep her feelings about her hosts to herself.
Claudia should have run the show like The View runs that show. The View hosts have hated each other over multiple years, but when the cameras came on, the hosts got on with their jobs and acted like they were his friends. Those people were professionals, and Barbara Walter wielded a wrinkly iron fist over the show. No one on that show was going to mess up Barbara Walter's bag.
Claudia should have taken notes.

The people who keep blaming armon either simply don't like him i.e. tasha k fans and/or they don't understand how business works. If gossip, co workers not liking each other, or hr complaints were enough to shut down a successful business, there would be no businesses. The executives at fox and foxsoul could care less about a roast or the host not liking each other behind the scenes. They care about NUMBERS! TGIF's numbers did not justify the salaries. If anything, the roast or Al's complaints simply sped up an inevitable cancelation.

I watched the show when Lunell was on the show, the way she questioned Al about whether he was honest about his sexuality to Star, you can see he was mad. I felt uncomfortable for him at that moment, but he appeared to be alright. Now behind the scenes we now know, he was not happy with the tone of the questioning. They should've just paid Al, and replaced him, and then we could still have a decent show to watch.

You have shows like the real ,talk and view along with sports center and every other panel shows where a correspondent has a behind the scenes drama it does not stop the flow of the program and the ad revenue money.
They find a new way to refresh the show and they move forward unfortunately that wasn't the case here because managers producers hanger ons every acronym you could think of behind the scenes had a part to play and why this didn't become more successful..
When they were being shown on seven different platforms when a lot of shows can't get on one. Sag strike has a lot to do with this these networks are trying to pinch their pennies where they can and if you cause up enough of a problem where they can be potentially sued the network may find it cheaper to get rid of ior pay off the the offended party.
Armon has a childish nature about him he was not very informed on topics outside of Nicki Minaj and Cardi B which didnt help long-term when your viewer looking for your panelists to be knowledgeable on just about every subject that's brought on the show. You wanted a funky like personality to push the envelope the difference was funky was intelligent on the subject matter he was talking about even if he didn't know enough about it he still had the wherewithal to have these conversations that made you think he knew .

Armon said in his Read that Al was trying to get the show canceled. To me it sounds like Al saw an opportunity in that same Read to shut the show down and he ran with it.

I stick by the theory that Claudia is the villain in Funky's eyes because she pushed for favored nations contracts meaning He couldn't negotiate a significant pay bump. Every 50k Funky asked for was 150k Fox Soul had to spend. Al considers Claudia the villain because he thinks she has a separate production deal aside from their talent contracts.
And RUclipsr just goes back to their day job and their followers. Al and Claudia will be LOOKING for their next opportunity.

I believe.Funky Divea set everyone up for a fail. I also believe Funky got Tasha k involved to move the story faster. I believe he use Claudia and Al insecurities against each other and played each one against Fox soul to destroy the show. I believe funky wasn't doing very well in the corporate world and they saw that he was a problem and they kicked him out. And like most covert narcissistic ppl when they feel betrayed, (like funky) they manipulate others to do their bidding.
